Lost Audio Premiere Pro

Have you just realized that you're missing an audio file in Premiere Pro, maybe you've accidently deleted it or have overwritten it by placing another file over it. Don't worry, watch this 50 seconds tutorial to learn how to find and recover your missing audio file or files.

To Restore the Corresponding Audio or Video to a Clip on the Timeline

NOTE: This method is for audio files recorded in Premiere Pro.

Select the Audio file before the missing audio file. Go to the Effect Controls and make a note of the file number (e.g. 33).
Select the Audio file after the missing audio file (e.g. 35)
So, audio file number 34 is missing. There can be any number of audio files missing in between.
Right click on the audio file before the missing file and select "Reveal in Explorer …"

Drag and drop the missing file to the Timeline.
You could also find all your recorded audio files by going to your
1) Project Folder
2) Adobe Premiere Pro Captured Audio
3) Untitled

NOTE: If you've just deleted your audio file by accident, then you could simply Undo it by pressing Ctrl + Z on Windows or Command + Z on Mac.
