This being named Oddyssey material helper, it is only for materials for suits and other ground stuff? Not for ship engineering?

For some reason the link to the site has broken

Started using this just a few days ago but ever since I did a suit modification (reduced tool battery consumption) it's not working. It recognises the upgrade but all my Odyssey material lists are showing as 0 while the Horizon material lists are fine. Any ideas?

Link broken. There's a github, but it's pointless to people like me. I mean, can't just be a simple installer. Download zip, there's no installer, open windows batch file and it runs and CMD window which closes when it's done. No desktop shortcut, nothing found when searching windows, no application in the entire zip...

You could be getting a lot more views if you simply explained how to get the thing and get it running opposed to what the app does.

Hi first time, I downloaded that Odyssey Material Helper tool and can't seem to make it work, loaded on the drive that I have elite on but won't work, I look at your video, but dose not tell me were to install file before installing tool on the computer, can you help me out.

This tool changed the game for me.

Does anybody know what the Trade (Beta) option does? I mean...it WOULD be a bit more straightforward if you were able to trade items with other players (as far as I know you can't?) but because that's not possible ( again,as far as I know), what in the world is this all about? I'm so confused and frustrated because I can't find any information on it and the "read me" at the github just takes me to this video which, is great, but it is older and doesn't have the Trade option even mentioned (and you can see it's not in the helper yet anyway)....so what's this thing all about?

For some reason this tool will not open for me anymore. It did the first couple times I used it, but now every time I try to open it the application it shows as open but doesn't display anything. Kind of a bummer as I'm just starting to get back into ED for Odyssey

Is this any different from EDEngineer?

Just wondering if this tool works in real time?

I tried this thing,its alright, ED Engineer still does more overall and is easier to use especially for the Odyssey stuff.

When I think about whole this grind and after that ... nothing because there is nothing in this game on ground like CITIES or even LIFE, everyone will back to their ships and just forgot about this LOOTING MISSIONS

The tool is excellent; I don't play EDO without it on any more. There is a NEED level enhancement. Need to make a button to Refresh, because often it has obsolete info if there are changes since you launched it.

Seems very useful tool. I'm completely confused by the huge amount of Odyssey's stuff we need, and what is useless. And the lack of a game's UI tool is very sad. Another example of EDO"s bad design imho.

Nice video! It would be nice to see more guides etc regarding on foot engineering of suits and weapons.

It's not integraded into cmdr's toolbox it looks like. I prefer your website because it's a one stop shop! :) o7

This is very good. I use EDEngineer but having a Odyssey "only" tool is very helpful. Thanks for the info.

I would love to see what different weapon upgrades do. What's the difference between noise suppressor and audio masking? Is the scope useful?

The material grind in ED is unbearably boring, what the fuck is FDEV thinking when they are designing this - do they even playtest the game?

How about encouraging people to play and enjoy the game as intended, instead of obsessive min/max power-grinding.
You guys are spoiling your own fun, and then mass-complain that there is nothing to do.

Cool tool. It seems very comparable to what Inara (with E:D Market Connector) provides. I like this Material Helper UI better than Inara. But, Inara provides all of these features plus it also supports trading to get missing materials.

Great tool,thx!, I just wasted mats for upgrade a suit, then I found it in a outpost for credits.. well is better spend an hour touring all outpost around the bubble and buy all already upgraded or with open slots.
