Use Drupal? My Most Important OSTip So Far!

For years our students have used Acquia's DevDesktop to create sites and go through our courses. But it was never a great solution. Almost a year ago (June 30, 2021), Acquia discontinued the product and as of this past week, removed the distributions, rendering it officially dead.

In this video, Rod demonstrates a fantastic, free, and functional replacement that works completely in the browser! So, is your computer locked down or you can't install software? It doesn't matter any more!

The solution is based on a Github repository by Ofer Shaal (https://github.com/shaal/ddev-gitpod) that uses GitPod and DDEV to get you up and running - in ONE click.
