Love Dr Fung. He makes dieting/fasting fun. He made what my elders said growing up and reduced carb/sugar sexy again coz it was logical to the older me.

Discovered him in late 2019.

Yay to Nobel Peace prize.

The drug mafia wants him to be removed from the system. Same strategy with my $20/visit doctor, he diagnosed me type 2 last week and put me on medication. Futher advised to visit next week so he will write me referal for a blood glucose test device etc.

You just confirmed what i have been suspecting for the last few years, getting more and more insulin and gaining more and more weight, and collecting more and more pains and problems, to the verge of being disabled.
Drastically changed my diet on january third this year, starting with three 'oat days'. Lost 6 kilos (13 pounds), reduced insulin and metformine with 80%, hba1c from 7 to 6.3, with good hope to get off my medication and below 220 pounds this year.

I lost over 150 pounds. My diabetes got worse, not better. I did the fasting thing for over a year. Got nothing. This does not work for everyone.

☝️… there’s a trend going around since the end of 2024 purporting a cause of T2 diabetes being the result of a type of gut colony bacteria (firmicutes)- which is being claimed to attack the pancreas and “robbing” enough insulin from the body to cause T2 diabetes… how much truth might there be to this claim?…

What about it being an interference problem the insulin is not working because there is an interference problem with the insulin’s effectively working. Maybe fat or something else interferes with the process. If there is excess glucose then either the insulin is faulty or if not something maybe fat interferes with the process . Hence why when fat is lost it starts to reverse diabetes. Idk just a few thoughts

Type 1 diabetes is a disease; type 2 diabetes is a business and there is no profit in cure.

Proper human diet (low/no carb, high fat, high protein) prevents diabetes, but its not preferred by those making profit from the disease (big food, big pharma).

It was once called sugar diabetes for a very good reason.

A good friend is a Medical Rep for a major EU Drugs company. A major part of his role is the T2 medicines his company provides to the UK NHS service for patients with T2. A couple of years ago he attended a company seminar where these medicines were discussed. A senior scientist in his company admitted that Diet was a more effective way of treating T2 than were the medicines produced by his company. His company makes billions from the sale of such medications in the EU. In England our NHS Service now recognises the impact diet has and in some areas are running trials of the 800 cal diet that is having great success in reversing T2.

May I tender my appreciation to this Dr ..was diagnosed type 2 earlier this year. My fbs was around 300mg/dl .. my doctor told to start meds which I did.. fortunately in the course of treatment i encounter one of his video explaining how type 2 diabetes can reversed. Among the options given I opted to do intermittent fasting. Let me say here I almost lost my sight. After doing it for 3 days all diabetic signs like frequent urination hunger thirsty disappeared. My sight started to improve..I was using glasses but I stopped. My fbs started dropping down. As am writing this testimony now my recent fbs is 106mg/dl. I intend to adopt intermittent fasting as my way of life. My target is ensure that I go as lower as below 80mgdl.. let encourage those that may be doubting this Dr please try it and testify later..

May the good LORD bless this doctor.

Thank you
