У этой микросхемы должно ещё припаиваться пузо, поэтому - термофен. Нужно облудить все контакты до пайки. То, что ты показал - конечный этап для контроля посадки микросхемы.

Use Solder paste method with drag soldering is most suitable for QFN chip that have thermal pad

Word of warning - DO NOT use plumber's flux that comes in cans shaped like the one at the beginning of this video on PCBs! It well leave an invisible conductive residue that is nearly impossible to clean off!

What about the central thermal pad? That's a b*hit, and asshands.

Nice video, love the wave effect. It's so easy on boards without ground planes and on leaded solder though. And no thermal pad. Can be a living hell without preheater on bottom and proper temperatures/times.

well, let's get some damaged ICs to practice.

You forgot to solder the thermopad/GND Pad that located underneath the chip ,which may be very important for the performance of chip align with the specification.. when soldering QFN with thermopad . hot air soldering and drag soldering method shall be applied
