When you say you didn't get the big sales, what were your sales like? I mean, did you sell under $10k?
ОтветитьDude already after 1 episode this looks so promising! Love how you are setting the scope and story first!
Ответитьmeeh, only for casual people.
ОтветитьKickstarter, let's goooo!!!
ОтветитьMay be on my own here but i loved the look and feel of the simple lines before all the cell shading was added. Kind like Aha - "Take on me" style which i've not seen in a video game. Not to take anything away from the finished product tho
ОтветитьHOLY SHIT. Thats Awesome. I love the game at min 8. Crazy
ОтветитьWhat are you looking at the keyboard for lil bro?
ОтветитьAre you kids really crazy?
Ответитьbe careful mate, that portal looks exactly like a stargate, including the ramp and the wedge segments with triangles. you might wanna change it a bit to avoid MGM suing you.
ОтветитьI would kinda like it to have a multiplayer mode on lokal server like one host and give the game a map without the story just a few spots to have a home and a in game chat and a bit to do making it kind of like animal crossing xD
ОтветитьIt is really nice to see you starting such a big project. Although it seems so far away, if you just go step by step you get further :) Have a great time developing this game !
ОтветитьStill using UNITY after the changes they are trying to make?
ОтветитьThe water looks awesome!
Ответитьthe water is beautiful
ОтветитьWhat r the five games you made
Ответитьthis earned a sub. this was very cool and looks like it has lots of potential. good luck in your developing!
ОтветитьHi Ryan. This looks amazing! Excellent work! Your background resonated a lot with me. I am an aerospace engineer learning how to develop software and game dev.
ОтветитьCould you share your project so we can access it/
ОтветитьGreat video! I appreciate you being detailed about the resources you shared and love how you elaborate on the reasons behind your design choices. Keep it up! ❤
ОтветитьWow! this looks awesome! how long has it taken you to bring this up to this level?
ОтветитьHi love your devlogs! could you share how did you get the triplanar shader to work with terrains?
ОтветитьI wanna make a game like genshin impact but its in topview and 2d. To save gamers performance.
ОтветитьUnity just died this past week... Its Unreal, Godot or Monogame for me.... and Im just starting...
ОтветитьJust found about this gem. the concept, the art, looks beautiful. wishlisted on steam. hope to play it as soon as it releases. seeing your devlog gave me motivation back to pursue further. keep up the great work
ОтветитьI loved a short hike, I managed to get 8 hrs out of it somehow just collecting all the hidden things and people
ОтветитьI am searching for some scrolling texture tutorial for some school project that was given by my lecturer and I am lost and miserable cause the thing I am doing right now is not what I think a game should be, then I found your video and it is so inspiring me to continue what I have dreamed to do, to become a indie game developer. Thank you sir the stuff you do is so inspiring.
ОтветитьOk, I definitely will be following this devlog!
Ответить🎉 need tutorial about shader in unity ❤
Ответитьmay I ask how you get the black and white renderings? that's a look worthy of a Short Hike inspired game!
ОтветитьYo this is so incredibly inspiring. I'll definitely be checking in with you on your progress. I'll definitely be supporting.
ОтветитьIt's seems so refreshing , something simple and nice to the eyes.
That hard work it's on another level and making game development stand out. It's hardly to explain. In other word the Change needed in the industry.
I am not interested in the game, just saw the beginning by coincidence.
But I have a suggestion, make sure to add an inverted color mode. I could not play this game on a plain white screen. Cheers
Hopefully I can start my working on my dream game soon affter I finish making my first commercial game
ОтветитьWhy Unity and not a custom engine for such a simple game? Looks awesome btw.
ОтветитьMuch appreciated not only you explaining your passion, but explaining how you made the world so beautiful like the water. Low poly, beautiful and very clever
ОтветитьDude. Super inspiring! Definitely earned a Sub! Looking forward to checking out more of your creations!
ОтветитьAwww man i love it! it's super cute!
ОтветитьHey what language did you used for this game
ОтветитьIm a new developer and I love that shader technique you showed with the grass always being on top. Do you know anywhere I can learn that? Game looks awesome, cant wait to give it a shot!
Ответитьyay^
ОтветитьStraight up ripped off the stargate from Stargate SG-1 😂😂😂
ОтветитьHow did you make the env looks like sketch?
ОтветитьLove you brooo... Nice game... 😀
ОтветитьFantastic video. I love the fact that you told the viewer what you wanted and then dove in on how you achieved what you wanted. The desire, to what to achieve desire, to final look at goal is always satisfying to me and the explanation is super helpful as I'm going to go into 3D development later on in my amateur studio.
ОтветитьThis was fun to watch 🧡
Ответитьnice! 😄
Ответитьthe portal looks way too inpired by stargate
ОтветитьAre you using an orthogonal camera or perspective
Ответить
