I don't there's much devs who will join me but listen.

I'm currently making a 3D platformer game (yes, i know this genre is already buried), it's an entirely passionate project since it's my first official game and also a project that i love putting effort into, although i will probably not make any profit out of this, it's from the small things that you can build your career.
For beginners, start with quick projects, you'll get better once you understand how simple mechanics work and the main key for them: the whole scheme behind it.
Start by looking at game jams projects, there are some pretty unique that you can somehow take a piece of it and try building it yourself. Development takes time.

The worst part of development is that the truth is hidden, quality projects are not the most famous ones, hype surf is the best way to earn cash (however, you'll have to apply the quality concept in here) and the worst of all: sometimes you WILL fall, it's not any sort of curse, it's a light, wich will guide you, showing that you are indeed capable and you've gotten better since the last time you touched your project.

aint this just straight up marketing to mass audience?
heres a general advice if your new to game dev: just have fun, it does not need to be 'perfect' or popular
make dev friends and be passionate to learn, thats where underrated amazing stuff happens

Hi, im thinking of making an obby game, but its also a zombie apocalypse, like each 10 stages or so you have to kill waves of zombies, and you can buy better melee and ranged weapons. Also pvp is on throughout all of it. What do you think of that idea for my game?

Yo, i have been planning to make a game but i was so confused with all the ideas coming and how i can put them to place, but watching this video made me more confident than ever, and i have started the delopment today!

Instead of creating your own game it is much easier to steal the established worldwide brands of Marvel or DC for example as they have already popularized your game's core characters. Roblox games like The Flash leech off someone else's creation and anyone who develops a spin-off of that creation (like a Roblox game) should not be able to benefit financially. If I upload a cover of a copyrighted song onto YT I can't monetize it, the advert revenue goes to the copyright owner. Same should apply to Roblox games which feed off the copyrighted ideas of the original creators.
