Ответитьi never heard of asmr, but, i get the tingles when people whisper in my voices, near touch experiences, and tons more.
your voice is the most relaxing i heard in a while, thanks, i really needed this.
may the tingles be with you.
Sadly,i think i've never experienced it :(.
I've been trying soooo long to find a trigger for me but it just won't work.
I already know what ASMR is but I couldn't stop watching this video cuz it's super relaxing just listening to you
ОтветитьI believe the ability to perceive asmr is based on mental focus and your body/brains instinctual response to a stimulus. Now to explain. With mental focus i believe the less mental focus or even judgement you are using the easier it is to experience asmr. Otherwise the more focused and or judgemental you are the less you are likely to experience it. I believe this because during times of high stress i have trouble focusing in class and i obtain asmr easier. The inverse conditions being true i dont experience asmr very easily. Now for part 2. I believe that it has to do with your mind/bodies instinctual response to certain stimulus like sounds. When focused you dont need instinct and your concious mind makes judgements . However when unfocused your subconscious can roam somewhat free along with your natural response or instincts. That being said i believe as i might already have stated that asmr is an natural(instinctual) reaction to different stimuli. Meaning it is like goosebumps but for the inverse reason that goosebumps exist, not to alert of danger but to alert of something positive. ... i guess. I hoped this post wasnt too confusing because its late. But i hope it helps the asmr community. If you would like a better explanation or would like to talk about it just reply or even message me.
ОтветитьFor me watching videos is like me watching a fire burn. I don't get tingling but I am so out of it when I watch certain things. Just learning about this:)
ОтветитьWhat i feel most confortable with?.. whispering..voice Cracks caused by émotion! Émotion i can feel! Rain! Peace love and quiet! And most importantly Understanding

ОтветитьBefore you tube asmr's, My first experience I clearly remember was The Breakfast Club scene where Claire is putting make up on Allison. Also from time to time I would experience it through music like... Bjork or Kate bush songs. There were probably many more experiences before you tube but I cannot remember them at the moment.
ОтветитьIt might be weird but i got tingles when?i watched my brother organize some video games
ОтветитьI have thousands of triggers that trigger me
Ik heb duizenden uhhmm triggers...? Is er een nederlands woord voor? XD voor mij werkt gewoon heel veel
Ilse! What a wonderful video! It explains the ASMR experience so well. Great job! Thank you!
ОтветитьI get tingles in the base of my neck only...do I experience ASMR?
ОтветитьThis is amazing. The voiceover with the images has the most relaxing affect. Thank youuuu! Also do you have a folding video already? If not you should make one sometime! One of my favorite parts was when you folded the tank top :]
ОтветитьI really enjoy these ASMR videos and watch them every night with head phones to help me fall asleep as I have Hyperacusis which has given me insomnia the past few months. ASMR has helped me. However, I don't experience the head tingles. I love the sound of soft voiceS and whispering and many sounds, especially tapping with long nails. I am unsure if I experience or "have" ASMR?
ОтветитьI first discovered ASMR by listening to Bob Ross (the painter) video's. I did not know it had a name until a few months ago and I haven't gone back yet. I'm a veteran and have PTSD and ASMR helps me greatly.
ОтветитьNo doubt I experience ASMR....My triggers are certain types of crinkles, soft voices, certain cooking shows
ОтветитьI have never heard of this. But for me the quiet sounds give me anxiety and make me feel very agitated. I couldn't even finish watching this video
The only sound that I can think reminds me of this or makes me feel relaxed is a vacuum.
Where can I find a video like this explaining ASMR and why people like it, without the video itself actually being an ASMR?
Ответитьsuper mooi filmpje
ОтветитьI remember... when i was really young - like 4 years old, i used to get this exact feeling when i'd warm up after being in the cold... And I still can't seem to get the same tingles, they only appear in my back and shoulders. :(
ОтветитьIs ASMR occurring inside me o_0 cuz my stomach or colon is tingy...
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьBOB ROSS! My hero in personality ... and relaxation! I was already going to say that this short video alone with the soft speaking is almost proving some triggers to me, and I already watch these every night mainly just to sleep and not tingle.
ОтветитьI suffer with a rare form of migraine associated vertigo (ie: I have severe vertigo dizziness/spinning and pressure in my head all the time, and it is untreatable. It's also unbearable as it causes me to be bedbound and I suffer severe anxiety and panic attacks because of the symptoms of my physical illness. I just wondered if ASMR videos would be harmful to me because I've never heard of it and it just came up when I was looking for relaxation tapes for panic and chronic illness. Could you please tell me if you would recommend ASMR vids? And also, it would be of immeasurable help to me if you could make a gentle friend role play specifically for anxiety and vertigo attacks as there are none in existence and I know a lot of others who would benefit from it when having a bad attack. Thank you x
ОтветитьMy body starts cringing whenever i listen asmr especially gloves noise. Is something clse to asmr or i am starting to experience it? Since sometimes ido freqeuently search for triggers.
Ответитьno this doesn't do anything to me, it just scares me...and it kind of annoys me when people whisper.
ОтветитьUntil I saw one of your other videos I thought I was insane. I have memories of experiencing ASMR all the way form elementary school, and still experience it today. I am glad to see I am not alone. Thank you.
Ответитьhi i fall asleep when the fan on my laptop kicks in. is this amsr?
ОтветитьThis is scaring the s*** out of me
ОтветитьVery interesting. I used to think I was unique, especially what you said about Bob Ross shows, I used to watch them when I was anxious, stressed and unable to sleep. Watching them made me feel relaxed and in a very "tingly" state. I suffer from depression, panic and severe anxiety problems, but find ASMR videos help sometimes. Thank you for explaining and researching this subject, up to a few years ago I thought it was just me and I was weird. :) It would be great if this was studied and findings entered popular culture. I think it could help a lot more people.
ОтветитьI don't know why but I get REALLY strong tingles in my head when I hear a hairdryer or washing machine. I remember when I was little and I would sit next to the washing machine and start feeling tired. It's still my strongest trigger so if anyone can point me to a video with these sounds or simmiler that would help me alot
ОтветитьI have sort of an odd question. A lot of people say that ASMR triggers will cause tingles, a trance-like state, and relaxation... I have never experienced "tingles", but I do find certain sounds unusually relaxing (sometimes even loud ones), and sometimes get into a trance-like state, to the point where the words don't even matter anymore, I'm just listening to it like white noise because the noise itself is relaxing or otherwise pleasing (i.e. Yahtzee Croshaw from Zero Punctuation isn't "relaxing", but his voice is inexplicably addictive, and I'll listen to his loud, crude voice for hours while doing a mundane task just to hear him). Is this ASMR? If not, what exactly am I experiencing?
ОтветитьI don't get many tingles but they still make me tired,, I enjoy watching these videos.
I found out about asmr by a show called inside edition had a segment about it and I was super I treated and have been ever since :)
Guide your fingers extremely slowly and barely touching from your very low waist to above your belly button. It makes my legs and mid body tingle. Might work for some of you.! :D
ОтветитьI have some fap sounds I made the other day, if anyone wants to hear them?
ОтветитьPretty sure I have asmr
ОтветитьMy triggers are when something comes close to my face and softly noises and crinkles
ОтветитьDoes anybody else here have the ability to automatically experience "tingles" at any given moment?
I have always been able to do this but I never realised that it was connected with ASMR.
To activate this tingly sensation, I focus my consciousness to the centre of my forehead (third eye area).
An intense pleasurable feeling that almost feels electrified starts to happen from the centre of my brain to my forehead.
A slightly duller version of this happens to me whenever I have tried to cross my eyes.
I can stop this pleasurable tingly feeling instantly whenever I like but I cannot really explain what is going on up there.
Great video by the way!
The advertisements ruin all relaxation. Rude awakenings.
Ответитьactually it all satrted in 1800s it was showed on tv it was entitled "the kiss"
ОтветитьAbsolutely you are Brilliant! I love this you remind me of a professional actress 😊
ОтветитьIs it autism related?
ОтветитьThank you, not only did I just discover my trigger by listening to your voice but you've helped me with my anxiety as well. I've been struggling with it for a while now and listening to you has relaxed me so much that I'm not stressed anymore from a long week so thank you so much because I'm going to add these videos to my daily routine :)
ОтветитьUnfortunately, I can never, ever experience ASMR. Why? Some people believe that ASMR is directly involved with, and has a lot to do with, dopamine receptors. For whatever your ASMR triggers might be, a lot of people believe that the way it gives you that tingling, pleasurable relaxing sensation, is by hitting your dopamine recepetors somehow, and releasing the dopamine chemical into your brain in an effect similar to what would happen if, you ate chocolate or some other food that tastes good to you and is pleasurable to eat.
I however, ended up getting hooked on opiate pain killers after I got hit by a truck. I took them for so long, and at such high strengths, they virtually burnt out my dopamine receptors. Many things that should be, are no longer pleasurable for me. One of those things being - experiencing the ASMR feeling, which I cannot, and may never again, be able to feel.
If this gets me annoyed what does it mean , I just want to slap whoever is speaking and force them to speak louder. Not just with this video others to I don't get it.
ОтветитьIdubbbz.
ОтветитьThanks for posting this video I didn't know what ASMR mean now I know. I used to watch Bob Ross shows and always wonder why his voice was soft spoken while he's painting, his painting shows are now on HULU.
