Is the GT 710 REALLY worse than Intel HD Graphics?

I strongly believe that the GT 710 is designed specifically to be an indicator for the type of buyer who should not have the money they do.
No matter the circumstances, the GT 710 is always the wrong hardware for the job.

I never got my hand on this but I did played for 6 goddamn years with GT610... Yes, You heard me... Only recently I've managed to get RX580 8GB in 2018 & RTX 3070 in 2021... 😅😅😅

the 64bit gddr5 gt 710 is the common one, idk how you get your hands on a 32bit one.
if you actually use the 64bit one, you will actually see a bigger difference. why didn't you look for 64bit one?

Well, I have 64 bit 2GB GDDR5 gt710... from Zotac (not in main computer, but it serves as a testing graphics card, so in case of bad mother board I don't fry something thats worth keeping).

for me tha GT 710 is only worth doin' a Windows XP Retro Gaming knockaround project vs modern games lol

In the PC of my parents either the HDMI port on the motherboard is bust or the iGPU just does not work. It is my old pc and I kept the graphics card at the time.

Anyway, there it was a welcome solution. Cheap and still working well.

as a former gt 710 and 730 user. i was satisfied with it. i can't play modern title. but it was a good cheap card at that time. i thought i would be using it forever. but times do change...

The only place I can see for a ddr3 variant is in my server. It comes under the 25w limit that most servers have on their pcie lanes, so actually... It's a good idea to keep one on hand if you're not running headless

we want to see gt710 tests because it makes us feel better about our existing hardware
nothing that came out this decade is weaker than it, and only igpus of the previous decade are
even my old laptop with gt720m was better than it

i still love my gt 710 2 gb gddr5 on my old pc I5 650, 8 gb ddr3 ram, and ssd.
But why all test only 1 gb version or only gddr3 version???? gt 710 2 gb gddr 5 is better, but no one use this one in tests.....

Any such comparison has relevance only when the two cards are of equal bit-width. The 64 bit ddr5 gt 710 has an advantage in mem. bandwith over the ddr3 version of over 25 gig : 40.1 gig [ddr5] vs 14.4 gig [ddr3].

Say what you want , my backup system is an i7-2600 with a GT 710 with 4GB of GDR3 and it cranks out a dependable 59 - 60 FPS.

Yes I know I'm a year late. I was stuck with the GT 710 gddr3. For a couple of years till I got a gtx 1060. I always had my GT 710 over clocked and I always got 30% more out of it.

Back in the old days of FX 5200 it had so many variations of itself that performance differed by as many as 3 times and upper versions were actually as fast or faster than FX 5600 Ultra. In terms of GT 710, Kepler GDDR5 variant is the best and worst one is Fermi DDR3 one. I don't know exactly how much Fermi variant is, but I would imagine difference being big.

Bruhh i get like 120+ fps in valo and aproox 40-50 in the new fortine though it lags few times in fortnite it's a ok card at least you can play Valorant..
Edit-(it drops in valo to 40 fps on rever finishers and least it drops during gameplay is 80)

Back in 2020 my First GPU on my Old CPU was GALAX GT710 2gb Passive Cooling and I overclock it 70%. I sold it by 1 year later somehow my client complains about the graphics become trash however I tested it working without problem before I handed it to him he didn't get refund because he told me that he and his friend put it inside his pc so probably the friend of his damaged the GT710.

Not sure why anyone would use a gt 710 if other way stronger cards are hardly more expensive to get. Got a untested Inno3d ichill gtx 780 accelero hybrid a few weeks back for 1 of my daughters pc for €35 that works fine after refilling the aio.

I watched almost 10 to 15 videos of gt 710, everyone said its basically garbage but then i proceeded to buy it because other options were costly and i cant afford anything a little costly than this even if its 10 times better. Sure it wont be enough for gaming and other stuffs but for someone like me using old computer with core 2 duo and 2 gb ram its enough.
