The exercises that you demonstrated do very well to cure your Piriformis Syndrome. Worked for me. Those exercises also help relieve lower back pain (lumbar down into Sacrum). If you have tight muscles in the Sacrum/Hip Flexor/Quads (like many people do), then you most likely suffer from some degree of back pain. Loosening these muscles was the key to helping relieve pain down my left leg and into the foot, caused by sciatica. When I did my research/educating into my back problem, I found that Bob & Brad has the best source of good info/exercises. Start with a simple stretch as a base/foundation (like the McKenzie) and then build/add to this. It does take consistent and persistent work, but if you stick with it and push yourself, you will begin to see big results. Thanks to Bob & Brad for these fantastic videos. You probably saved my life, no joke.

However, those ones pushing down on the knees are no good for me as it twists the knee (I have no ACL one side)...

Whatever book these stretches are from, you Bob and Brad should be indicating where people should be feeling the stretch, not just demonstrating them.
ОтветитьHey Bob and Brad, have a problem, I can’t feel my skin above my left and right knee but more so the left side. I feel pressure when touch and that’s it. What do you think causes that and is there a treatment? Thanks and keep up the great work :)

ОтветитьI’m not sure if you’ll see this, but I had spinal decompression, but disc slipped and week later I got lower back fusion L4/L5. Since then, lost 73 lbs , Aqua classes, yoga. Stretching everyday. But I’m still tight in my legs and thighs. What do you all think the problem is? I start PT again end of the month. It’s frustrating

ОтветитьI do the 60 second version, but that’s just because my groin is too tight. Most stretches I limit to 15 seconds.
ОтветитьI recently (7/20/2021) had a total femur, total hip and total knee replacement. I cannot get comfortable at all because of the many sleeping, sitting (positions) restrictions that go along with this massive procedure. I'm oftentimes brought to tears of agony and distress because of those restrictions. I can't sleep which leads to loss of appetite and I feel an oncoming depression. Help me, please!

ОтветитьHello I just got into soccer and my hips are hurting when I swing my leg (I have been playing soccer for 7 years) but I don’t know if I pullled my hip muscle or it’s just soreness because all of these stretches feel really good.
