The problem with almost all boomer shooters is early access. There's maybe a few fully finished games like Dusk, Ion Fury and Amid Evil but the rest are just early access trash. Some games are even in early access for more then 3 years. I never understood why people play early access games.

I love seeing 45's getting rep in boomer shooters but Jesus Christ that shotgun looks awful

Played the demo a couple of months ago. It felt really good! Excited for this game!

INstant buy, Also getting, dusk, Ultrakill and Maximum acion.

No cap I thought by the cover art that the mc was a female (or at least, was assigned that at birth)

You should look at one of my favorite video games of all time Bulletstorm. It is such an underrated FPS game.

I'll definitely buy it when it's closer to it's complete state .

Definitely getting it right now, got burned out of the boomer shooter craze after dusk and many more but now i'm ready again, dusk was amazing btw just played too many after that. The games so cheap I usually wait till they're out of EA to not spoil the game but sure, what the hell, i'm off for a week nothing better to do xD

Definitely one of the more unique boomer shooters I’ve seen so far. Just hope there are more terrifying enemy types in the future, like how you’d go “Oh shit!” when a Shambler appeared in Quake. Great review!

I have been following this badboy since the Hell Hunt demo and now it can finally take its place alongside the mighty Wrath, HROT and Ultrakill as one of the few absolute best retro killing games out there in early access that I can't wait for the full version of.

Hey man would you mind taking a look at Trepang 2? It's basically a F.E.A.R. inspired FPS, it's currently early access, but from what I've played, it's turning out to be a better sequel for F.E.A.R. than F.E.A.R. 2 and F.3.A.R.

Its so nice to have a new wave boomer shooter where the weapons just arent the same old doom formula, melee pistol, shotgun, maybe another shotgun, hitscan auto weapon, explosive projectile weapon , fast firing possible plasma projectile weapon, super bfg like weapon, etc. I was really pleasantly surprised with the recharging bow and the electrical stun bombs.

my intel atom would LOVE these retro games.

I hate the word "boomer shooter" because it wasn't boomers who played the old school shooters. That's a wrong generation god damnit.

Now i know its a boomer shooter and its graphics are the way they are because of that, but im sorta trying to imagine it running on the doom 2016 engine.
Fuck that would be awesome.

Just picked up the early access. Still getting in to it but right now the controls are tight, the gameplay is super satisfying, the level design is great, the music is perfect, everything so far is damn good and I do not regret getting the early access.

there are no overlays on anything, it's all one layer player... LOL boring.

This game is incredible! Great gameplay, love the graphics and music is fantastic, gives Hulshult a run for his money. Secrets are super satisfying too.

I didnt like it at first, but when it clicks- its becomes awesome shooter (especially quickswap is so fuckin sweet). Highly recommended.

Boomer shooter? Really ? Game looks great. But im tired of all the extra labels people have to make up. My father was born in the baby boom which is where the term is from. You guys just loosely use any term.

Sorry if I'm annoying, but can someone tell me what equipment I need to play the game? Because I have a 4 year old HP-office toaster, not a normal gaming PC.

It's not that bad, I can play Amit Evil, Turok 1 Remaster & Pain Killer without any problems.

I don't get sometimes why the retro shooters need to be hideous on purpose. Cultic looks like actual trash and this thing is so purple I can't even look at it for more than a minute. You can have primitive graphics that actually look like real items and normal colors. But no, we get this kind of design. They'd sell allot more copies if they would just put a bit more effort into colors
