This is still normal, before the ending, my character had a surge of wild magic that made everyone cats and dogs, but if everyone had the form of an ordinary dog or cat, then the Emperor had a muscular Abby cat standing on its hind legs

I like it when you murder the mind flayer in that form, shit is hilarious since you basically stab air.

The devs really didn't think it through when having the player be in animal form for cutscenes.

Oh god, this is exactly what my ending cutscene was like 😅 I had to become a displacer beast to kill the brain as my health was too low to take the psychic damage it does as a reaction, so I didn't get to see my squid form for the ending. Bit disappointing as it was so glitched as a displacer beast :') just like this.

Okay, besides the glitchy cat, why the hell is only one person trying to stop you or sound upset??? Maybe there were so many scenes that are missing companion commentary. I think that’s one thing Dragon Age: Inquisition did really well, like if you did something stupidly dangerous, your companions would say so and it just made it feel more genuine.

On my first playthrough I had Gale cast Blink on himself, and in the final cutscene he was just a floating orb.

Hahahahahah this happened on my super evil durge playthrough. I couldnt take it seriously when I slit the cross-legged displacer's neck. XD

Ending was super likely to glitch too... I had Orpheus with me in cat form, and the game didn't know who the illithid was so it assumed it was my Tav. Totally ruined the ending for me to have my guy who wasn't an illithid stand there in his human form with this dumb dead expression and everyone sad that he had sacrificed himself becoming an illithid I'm there like "what no that wasn't even the story" and the bigass cat just watching and Lae'zel lamenting Orpheus having died back in the astral prism. 120 hour playthrough just to get that ending I nearly flipped xD Thankfully reloading and getting a killing blow on the brain with Orpheus alive and in illithid form fixed it and I got my proper ending 🙂

In my first playthrough i was playing as wild magic sorcerer, I went to help the emperor fight some gith and wild magic turned everyone into cats and dogs, at the end of the fight i started a conversation with him and ended up with 40minutes of dialogue and cutscenes with a dog

I like how the narrator just asks "Will you?" cold

Accidentally did this with Orpheus and the party didn’t even acknowledge him as a big kitty walking next to them. Lae’zel assumed he was dead in dialogue

Okay, now, I'll be trying to do the same in this cutscene as a wild-shaped druid. There are plenty of funny options. I hope the game doesn't force us out of wild shape.

I was wondering if anyone could answer this:

I know at some point in the story you get offered a "special" tadpole that gives you extra powers, but also the black veins on your body, is that where the displacer form comes from for a druid? Or do you get access to that without needing the black veins version of the tadpole? 😮

Edit: So apparently you do require the special tadpole, which is a shame, the black veins are so ugly. :( I guess I could make a black dragonborn and hope the veins are hardly noticeable. (It also seems it's not druid specific like we thought, anyone can unlock it?)

I dont know who forgot about animals when it came to cutscenes. Kept Halsin around for a bit during act 2 and i saw some really funny shit lol
