Gargle ice cold water for 10 seconds......it's gone

one method that just helped my pathetic butt was drinking water from the other side of the glass. i prefer u use a straw-bottle thing bc u normally lift the bottle and drink but what i did was put the bottle down, stand up, put my mouth to the straw and moved my head upwardes a bit (chin closer to neck) and drank the water. i think it was 15 seconds or 30 seconds before i realized that i hadn't had a single hiccup. but from experience and reading comments, not every method works for everyone. but, it's worth a shot
