Baby's are designed to make you take care of them. If time gets hard just lie the baby down somewhere safe and take a minute break to regathering yourself. Also a switch is easier play Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Listening to you recap your year with your daughter and tying milestones to the game you played around then just made me tear up and smile, bringing me back to the first time I experienced all this with my baby boy. He was born early in 2022 as well, so this video felt very relatable! Albeit, I had a lot more instability due to various factors, but we've finally gotten life under control, and now I get to watch him grow, learn to make conversation, start performing complex tasks, express emotions in more... adult ways. It does get easier with time, but the love and pride never goes away and only gets stronger as the days tick away.

Yeah i agree with the elden ring part. I especially ruined the game by looking for ways to cheese it instead of finish it myself with no help or anythin. I loved the game still so i cant imagine whatd it feel like if i played it properly

I love how you explain you explain the relationship between each game with different periods of your life throughout the year. It provides me with the reminder that games are meant as a means of having fun. During the last couple years now I have been soley focused on competive first person shooters and have recently felt burnt out on video games. However, watching this video made me realize that I am not actually burnt out on video games, I am burnt out on spending hundreds and sometimes thousands of hours on ranked/comp games just to get a virtual rank that means nothing. This video reminded me to enjoy the hobby rather than treat it as a distraction to life. Thanks and congratulations on becoming a dad!!!!

I wish I knew how you managed to play games whilst just having become a dad. Since my son was born about 2.5 years ago, I’ve been lucky to maybe play an hour a week at most!

I didn't have kids on purpose.
