Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous (Beta) - Azata Mythic Path Mechanics/Overview

I just beat the game today choosing Azata Mythic. Loved every minute of it. Aizu honestly saved me end of game with Resurrection and his regular attack.

Superpowers are too crazy not to cover all of them. Friendship makes all MC teamwork feats global for the whole party? It's free real estate! And Zippy makes single target spells jump to one more enemy or something, IIRC.

Does Aivu get Temawork Feats from Sacred Huntsmaster?

So I discovered something that can be easily overlooked with the Azata Mythic Path that can be a big deal later on until you realize you did something wrong. The “Bonds of Friendship” perk isn’t something you automatically get when you level up your rank like everything else; you have to have chosen a teamwork feat previously in order to get the ability to share it with your companions. I only realized this when I got to Mythic Rank 5 and I leveled up just BEFORE that rank and I haven’t chosen any teamwork feats because no one else had any applied for auto-level up companions.

I’ll just have to replay that fight against the Balor and the stuff leading up to it because I really want to make use of that feature, and missing two opportunities is a big deal.

EDIT: Okay, so I had a save file not too far away from that moment, so it was only one fight I had to replay--and I cannot tell if the thing is active or not for other companions. Great.

Supersonic speed with a sword saint daaaaamn.High AC and does the miss chance stack with blur?That's likea 50% chance to miss which brings it to 70% total miss chance.

Superspeed? Wolverine healing factor? A dragon companion? Butterflies?

This Azata thing really has it all. Definitely gonna do this after my pure evil Super Lich.

Now I'm torn between Azata (perma haste +pets) and Trickster (more sneak atacks) for my rogue. I have read that Regill will leave if latter is taken, anyone can confirm that? Or he leaves when I mess up his quest?

I´m going 1st run w\ Kitsune/9fold Sorc./Azata, chaotic good, cute fox on a cute dragon, hope that blasts with fun...

Loved the scene you get when it unlocks. The quest triggers to get there were buggy as heck in release version, but it was worth the replays to get the awesome scene.

Soooooo.... After the Stargaze quest in the Town square.... that's it? No more special checks or quest? Just choose Azata when the time comes?

After reading today the abilities of the full grown dragon pet (Aivu) I think that describing it as "decently strong" may be understatement of the year.

Where i can find that guy who run away from inquisitors? In my playthrough i not find him, and some time later inquisitor kill him. I got quest from his 3 follower, but guy himself died

Can anyone tell me if The babu Dragon Grows up?

Do you know if your class abilities related to your pet get transfered or duplicated for the fey dragon ? Like getting the teamwork you get for your animal companion and the fey dragon at the same time as a sacred huntmaster.

I went to the market square too late, and Hulrun killed Ramion, i still got the quest from one of the guys who was invisible.

Lawful evil azata assassin?😅

Okay this is the first Path that has me going "thats straight broken." Marvelous Endurance is plain game breaking and might well be changed. At rank 4 (where you can get it first) its Fast Healing 8 (1+1+1+5). Which is already amazing. The very best healing Clerics get is Fast Healing 4. Alchemists need to be like lvl 18 to get a Grand Discovery that gives Fast Healing 5. You get Fast Healing 8 at around level 9 with this path. But at Max Mythic level 10 it grows to Fast Healing 38. With a decent amount of AC I don't think its possible for you to actually die. Perma Hasten, uber Bard Songs and a bonus Dragon pet is just the cherry on top.

You get a cute dragon companion, superpower of your choosing and incredible charisma. So you get to play as a Pathfinder version of Arthur Lewin. Cool :)

Hey man, thanks for doing these videos. I'm curious about the Azata's superpower, "All-skilled". Does it allow you to wear stuff that is class/alignment locked? Or is just like a Proficiency feat for every item?

This or trickster is gonna be my first mythic path playthrough as a chaotic good character. By the way one thing you forgot to mention, is that The Azata Dragon will be rideable once it reaches medium size, It levels up just like other animal companions. The Devs themselves told me this, after I asked on a live stream.

So I can't choose the dragon?

Really nice series thank you, i was looking forward to the various paths. Are you going to do a video about mythic companions too? I see they go mythic but do they just get some standard passives and mythic feats or they get to choose some minor paths as the main character as well?

This looks so good! I was originally planning to do my first playthrough as an Aeon, but according to your previous video Aeon path looks more suitable for a martial character due to Bane and dispelling strike-like core abilities. Azata path on the other hand looks a bit more suitable for caster characters which is what I am planning to do my MC.

Oh my god. That favorable magic/Zippy magic Superpower. As written that makes Azata better casters than *liches*! O_o

Do you think it would be redundant to go into this path as a bard or skald since you get the Azata songs or can you benefit from the regular performances as well at the same time?

Did hunter tactics apply to the dragon companion?

Dragon and swarm are late game paths. They won't add them for this beta. Apparently you have to "change" your previous path to even unlock them. According to kickstarter they are about redemption (dragon) and betrayal (swarm)

I wish the beta access wouldn't cost an arm a leg and a beach resort...

Damn, isn't it a bit op? All-skilled alone insane enough to just make a jack of all trades demigod from any character and zippy magic sounds like it will make a mass destruction nuke even from most useless 1 lvl spells
