Nba and mlb players generally have fully guaranteed contracts. NFL players generally do not have fully guaranteed contracts(some have partially/mostly guaranteed contracts) so nfl players get cut all the time for performance or budget reasons. WWE contracts seem to be more similar to nfl contracts.
