What a great looking and sounding guitar you have.
Ответитьa commercial ad after first two minutes?
ОтветитьI understand now, thanks for the very informative lesson.
ОтветитьGreat lessons . I watched your major scale lesson about playing scales in one position. You are a great teacher. Thank You for your expertise............
ОтветитьThe best lesson on phrasing I have ever seen.
ОтветитьThx. At my level this is very helpful
ОтветитьThis was likely the best lesson I've ever watched and it improved my playing more than any other skill I've practiced. Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks Jared, another clear and great lesson.
ОтветитьIm a 61yr old beginner. Stumbled across this channel, wow, thank you
ОтветитьThank you for saving my dying guitar interest
ОтветитьLast time i had a bonus tip was in Thailand in 1991...
ОтветитьThanks bro came in clutch for melodies for my beats this concept is applicable everywhere
Ответитьnice video jared its been since i have been on your channel goos stuff this is what i was looking for. be happy to have you on my channel again if you want for another interview if you have something new to share
ОтветитьHow can i use phrasing across the whole neck?
ОтветитьThat octave idea was dope
Ответитьawesome lesson. I have been struggling with phrasing for a long time and just playing around with these restrictions has helped me to be a lot happier with my sound. I will practice this until i can do it from intuition.
ОтветитьWhat will i do when there's 4 different chords in 4 different bars? Obviously playing A A in first two chords/bars wont sound good as chord change in second bar.
ОтветитьGreat 🎶🎸 lesson. 👍🙏
ОтветитьI got back to this video after watching the tip video about phrasing. The proverbial light bulb moment happened, I really am feeling good about it. Thanks Jared.
Ответитьis ok ! but too much talk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьYou are truly a gifted teacher. Thank you for this. You have opened the fretboard for me after 2o years. :D
ОтветитьThank you may brother soo much helpful appreciated❤️
ОтветитьGood lesson. Talk less.
ОтветитьWow, this is so great. I've been stuck on scales, but this phrasing idea is making music. I'll never proctise scales in the same way again. Thank you!
ОтветитьI can solo like a mad man, but it never sounds worth listening to. This will/ should help me slow down.
ОтветитьWow. Thank you so much! I'm binging your videos with excitement because I know they will greatly improve my playing.
ОтветитьI think an underrated aspect of this technique is that is puts parameters on your improvisation. It take a lot guessing work out of your decision of "oh what will i play here" and gives you either a rhythm pattern to follow or notes to follow.
ОтветитьNice, really helps build a habit of structure to solos, and conversational awareness. Too often I forget or abandon an idea and just play on the fly. I need to work on this one... a lot.
ОтветитьI wonder if this technique can also be used for creating vocal melody
ОтветитьI’m primarily a pianist, I’ll be using this idea for sure!
ОтветитьImprovisational gold. Cheers Jared.
ОтветитьSo boaring your demo because more explanation and less playing the guitar you handled,,,,👎
ОтветитьPlease less your talking and more to play so that no boaring while watching you phrasing excercise
ОтветитьThis is gold especially when you trying to get into songwriting and composition. Big up!
Ответитьomg this is a revelation. makes a lot of perfect sense.
ОтветитьIf you swing hard enough you can play pretty much anything and it will work.
ОтветитьExcellent, so simple but very powerful.
ОтветитьGreat video I have found the best way of improving my phrasing is to copy the vocal lines of Sarah Vaughn. Her pitch is perfect and her phrasing makes her the "the Divine One"
ОтветитьShort questions and long questions short answers and long answers AABA..........,,,,,,,,,,
ОтветитьSo basically pharsing is like question and answer conversations on the guitar
ОтветитьNice tone !! Are those round wounds?
ОтветитьFantastic lessons! Always seeking "guitar freedom" .. oodles here! Thank you!
ОтветитьOutstanding.
ОтветитьThis is the first video of yours I have ever seen. I immediately subscribed to your channel as a result. Great lesson!
ОтветитьAlmost did the riff for whole lotta love
