Thank you
Ответитьthis is awesome! Complete breakdown of critical components, and the concepts of how/why they work together. THANK YOU
ОтветитьI have a real connection with the way you explain things. Thank you very much
ОтветитьThank u sir
Great video
Kiitos!
ОтветитьVery interesting 🙏🏿
ОтветитьWe have split phase in residentials, two hots neutral and ground
Ответитьthanks Jeremy.....
ОтветитьVery good explanation! I love ur vids!
ОтветитьI look up a bunch of learning videos daily, but the way you talk & describe things make it sink into my brain much more efficiently. Teachers are the greatest people I know of & you're a great one. Keep teaching Good Sir!👍😎👍
ОтветитьHi my name is aman i bought used sewing machine induction motor thinking i could modify it to make oil press machine but know i am lost what do you i should do?
Ответитьhow can I contact for questions you are a genius Brother
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьHey man! Thanks so much for your videos. I’m a handyman and jace a client that wants me to wire up their entrance care to make it automatic so that you don’t have to get out of your car before and after every time you go through the gate. I’ve watched a few of your videos and it seems like this type would be best? I’d just have to get a switch to single phase and a control for the speed, no? I was wondering if I could pick your brain for a few minutes. I’d be willing to Venmo you some cash for your time.
ОтветитьI understood the principles of all this for years but had no clue how someone would rotate a magnetic field and/or get a dc motor's current to switch with the appropriate timing without some crazy semiconductor-type electronics and its all really quite simple, this helps a lot.
ОтветитьGlad I stumbled on your site. Very very good.
ОтветитьI went through a whole course on this without proper understanding of 3 phase motors, and you just completed my understanding in 12 minutes. WOW!
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьGood day, your videos are very informative. Any 3-phase induction motor brands you highly recommend?
ОтветитьThanks but i thought you would explain how to connect it (X. Or III) & HOW TO KNOW WHICH ONE OFF THE 2 TO USE .
Best regards 🤔
You my friend are a ROCKSTAR! To learn is to live..
ОтветитьNice model!
ОтветитьThis video is amazing. Three phase power was kinda confusing before. After seeing how the phases work together it really cleared things up for me.
Ответитьi really wonder your videos, i have a great gratitude for your incredible works.
ОтветитьHey Jeramy you videos are very informative and you lay out and explain in very good detail the that’s easy to understand. I come from a millwright background, so I get the concepts but never really new the details at all how they work. My question is this that I’m interested in make’n a scaled down version of a steam operated generator. For full house load capacity. Being the wizard that you are with the elec.motor/generator. What would be an ideal size elec. motor to use in this capacity. Does horse power play an issue and RPMs along with different phases add to or take away from the end goal of maximum efficiency. You know most output for the least amount of work put into it.
Thank you
is there any other type of electrical motors other then induction, does ever e motor work with induction?
ОтветитьI got my Journeyman’s through the IEC of Atlanta! You should look into teaching for our future electricians. You have a gift for explaining things fully and thoroughly!
Ответить@jeremy fielding. I need some help wiring up my lathe. The lathe is 440v 3ph, my garage is 220v 1ph. What is the easiest way to do this? I know I could use a VFD to go from 220v 1ph to 220v 3ph, is there a VFD that will step it up to 440v? Will I need to get a transformer to step it up? I’ve looked at transformers but all I can find are 440/220 and not 220/440.
Ответитьthank you for all that you do in these tutorials. it makes me laugh like I'm inferior to the uneducated because I am in fact educated at that point.
Ответитьstupid question, Iv''e made phase converters for 3 phase shop equipment. Do you think its possible to use run capacitors to reverse phase and run a 240 volt appliance off of of a 120 volt power source?
Ответитьgreat video!
ОтветитьHi Jeremy, greetings to you and your family. Could you please make a video explaining the difference between inverter and conventional generators. Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьSo, we understand what three phase is, we understand what single phase is... what about two phase?
ОтветитьI really appreciate your explanation. Pls how does brushless DC motors works?
ОтветитьCan i use 7.5kva alternator with 3hp induction motor
ОтветитьIs there induction alternator
ОтветитьShort of having 5 grand to buy a 3-phase pto driven generator, is there a ‘poor boy’/shade tree way to couple together two 5kw generators to have 3-phase current for an old welding machine?
A welder basically has no moving parts other than a small cooling fan.
If not, it appears that I’ve acquired a 900# paperweight.

Ответитьlove your videos. would like you to talk about overloads in 3 phase motors. current limits. voltage etc. I have a ac induction motor in a electric car project and have had issues with the inverter/motor cutting out. someone said my motor is too under powered but I would like to understand if a inverter with higher current limits would help the motor to cut out less. I'm not pushing it hard.
ОтветитьI swear these videos are a gift to humanity
ОтветитьEven if we don't have three phases AC power source, we already have a way to produce the three phase AC power, and that's usually via DC to AC inverters, and they're very common in efficient electric cars especially Tesla cars (Volkswagen cars may be using essentially the same squirrel cage induction motors as well, just physically different from Tesla car's, obviously) as both PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) and squirrel cage induction motors can be made to carry load at speed without wasting efficiency (I would prefer squirrel cage induction motor though as it resist overheating best compared to the PMSM, especially when having to limp it somewhere and magnets do not like heat).
ОтветитьHonestly I still did not get the difference in dc and ac current until this video. Thank you for explaining it in a way that makes sense to me. Being able to visually see the components help alot.
ОтветитьYou did better than my physics teacher dude … I literally re did this topic using your videos I got a Mf 4 (which is a A)
Ответитьi love this so much, quick question...are those wires wound on stator insulated?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьWell done sir👍
ОтветитьAwesome as always!
ОтветитьJust a quick note, in mainland europe all houses are supplied with 3 phase power
ОтветитьHaven't been this lost since I was first introduced to long division XD.
ОтветитьI just want to make a big deal on my phone
