Song of the South as a whole really isn't anything remarkable, but the cartoon segments and cartoon segments mixed with live action are excellent. The three Br'ers have such lovable designs and personalities. It's such a shame that the lunatics at Disney have currently banned them.

If they simply clubbed Rabbit as fast as possible, and had him in their stew pot five minutes later, the concluding half could have been narrated by David Attenborough, and there would be no problem with this at all.

Disney should’ve done two versions, one with Uncle Remus, and one with just the animated parts.
