Song of the South as a whole really isn't anything remarkable, but the cartoon segments and cartoon segments mixed with live action are excellent. The three Br'ers have such lovable designs and personalities. It's such a shame that the lunatics at Disney have currently banned them.

“Turn me loose” “are you hard’a hearin’?” Pretty clever how they used the lines of dialogue in splash even though it was a different scenes

Sad... how the Oligarchs of propaganda have stolen the WISDOM that these stories taught.

1. The Importance of compassion, speaking to one another in kindness...

2. Not letting one's Ego get so large that you want to force your will upon another....

3. Taking everything personal.

It's in the gloating where the animal logic becomes human logic, the logic of degradation. If they simply clubbed Rabbit as fast as possible, and had him in their stew pot five minutes later, the concluding half could have been narrated by David Attenborough, and there would be no problem with this at all.

Disney should’ve done two versions, one with Uncle Remus, and one with just the animated parts.

Wow... this is almost as bad as how Disney pushed many racist vids, pushing for the dehumanization of Japanese-Americans... Showing them with buck teeth, squinty eyes and big glasses- and as shorty malnourished white-girl-fantasy rapists, eh? (What the FU**?!), EH?

And we Americans thought 'The Hun' was bad in WWI?!... Disgusting. (I remember the morning of 9/11- my first thought was 'Oh, god, no- all Muslim-Americans will be treated thw way my grandparents were. Please no...

But... yeah, it happened AGAIN! (My Nesai grandparents may be rolling in their graves- if, that is, they could.)

Yick. How horrific, eh? (It'd take a slave a LONG TIME to get acess to a gun, huh? I suppose the easy way out isn't really very easy, eh? Yus, Massa! Im-a-gonna do it, rite'?

What a great novel. "Three Cheers for Nantucket' eh?
