I think killing ceasar is a big mistake
ОтветитьMOST ROMANS HAD GREEK NAMES AND THE USED THE GREEK DRAHMA AS THERE CURRENCY
ОтветитьThe first true knight? Brave in battle, a leader of men , magnanimous and chivalrous to his defeated opponents, on most occasions, and generous to the poor of the late Roman republic. Thanks KG you brought his amazing life fully to light.🗡💚💗👍
ОтветитьActually, every time "Caesar mentions xyz" is said in this video, it's never Caesar. Scholars have already ruled out the possibility that Alexandrian War, African War and Spanish War books were written by Caesar. And given how Spanish War book sucks ass at basically everything, it's exceedingly unlikely that it was written by him. It doesn't even match up with stuff we know from Cicero's letters.
ОтветитьWish they tought history like this at school!
ОтветитьI just cant believe how Ceasar continually gets himself out of seemingly hopeless situations. Lesser men would have easily fled or been killed by their own officers trying to surrender.
ОтветитьThrowing those bald eagles in sure confused me.
ОтветитьThanks for these.
ОтветитьThis video would be a lot more enjoyable without the annoying war music constantly running in the background
ОтветитьJust want to cry because Cesar's assassination is so frustrating omfg
ОтветитьMust been sucks marching Asia to Italy etc
ОтветитьIf Hannibal and Caesar were opposing generals, who you guys putting your money on?
ОтветитьI want to know about combat soldiers..we're they just mercenaries or did they actually care passionately about who they were fighting for?
ОтветитьWatch your friends
ОтветитьAmazing video guys! Caesar gave master craft lessons on tactics and strategy where ever he and his legions went.
ОтветитьSimply amazing work guys! Time after time Caesar proved his ability to c
ОтветитьRest In Peace Caesar🕊
ОтветитьOthers with time machine: Do totally stupid things and meet stupid people...
Me with the time machine after latin lessons: ,,NO CAESAR! DON'T GO TO THE SENATE!"
I almost cry at the end of this video...
Caesar #1
ОтветитьHail Ceasar
ОтветитьIf Julius Caesar and Augustus hadn't succeeded each other, history would have looked so different.
ОтветитьI've always wondered how long and wide that marsh was for the armies to be running around it in their full armor after all that work of building a camp and fortifications. It is almost a historical comedy of errors. It seems no matter how prepared and how overwhelming your army is, Caesar is thinking on step 24 and you are still on step 2. This campaign shows Julius Caesar at his best---underfed, understrength, waiting, waiting for supplies and reinforcements---and then wham, in a short time his enemies are catching boats to get away and their armies fallen away.
ОтветитьMan I love this channel so much. Thank you for everything you do.
ОтветитьSoundtrack at 27 mins?
ОтветитьHail Julius ceasar
ОтветитьAn incredibly detailed history lesson. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable of Roman history from this period. Yet if you asked me which legion was on Caesar's left in the battle of such and such I'd laugh at you. This video has all of these details that I never bothered to find out and it is fascinating.
Ответитьawesome
ОтветитьI feel like this is robbery, for such a quality seres to be free.
ОтветитьCaesar loves to Seize a lot!
ОтветитьYou guys tell history to the full nothing left out meanwhile history channel so the pyramids were alien landing site
ОтветитьAwesome work
ОтветитьHhhhh... The Egyptians... The Egyptians had nothing to do with this war.. they were nor the ruling class nor the pull of recruitment.. its the Greeks Vs the Romans...
Have the greeeks recruited Egyptians... Romans would have be swalen
If you found this video interesting, read Caesar Life of a Colossus by Adrian Goldsworthy. One of the most incredible lives of history and you’ll be even more impressed by him.
ОтветитьAmazing. No denying the greatness of Julius Caesar. Leaders like that are rare and feared by status quo "officials ."
ОтветитьI kept thinking he was going to say Farticus
ОтветитьI think civil wars and factions were the beginning of their downfall
ОтветитьI cannot understand people who find history boring, this was fascinating! thank you for your hard work posting it all..👍
ОтветитьIt's pronounced "Desimos", "Kintos" "Lusios"
ОтветитьEverybody knows Caserian was Titus Pollo's but
ОтветитьBro I've seen this videos like 100 times each...Idk who finds history boring but this is far from that, simply fascinating.
ОтветитьI don't like tyrants, nor dictators. But I admire Ceaser because of this video series. Ceaser wasn't just a dictator. His power was based not on which family he belonged, neiter on some occasional events. Ceaser was true leader who achieved his power because he was a man of incredible talent and titanic will. Honestly, I hate the optimates. They had nothing besides their origins from rich and powerful houses. They were rich people just trying to become even richer, carrying only about themselves but not the state as a whole. It is very sad that Ceaser was too kind with these people which resulted in his death.
ОтветитьThe greatest man to work this earth after Jesus Christ
ОтветитьI absolutely LOVE History...and I watch many of these kind of videos tucked up in bed. Thanks great job!
ОтветитьVery interesting. I did never imagine that Ceaser's path to the power was so challenging
ОтветитьThe Thing is: Ceasar kind of never won at all.
By the time of his assassination there were still enemy forces being besieged, etc .
