The crickets are such a vibe
ОтветитьCurrently using sp404mkII I mostly make house with it but lately I’ve been having so much fun making “liquid” dnb tracks
ОтветитьJust purchased one used . Do you have to use s d card ? Faukty ? It doesn't record unless I have s d card
Ответитьyou use the SP in the most unique ways.
ОтветитьNo wonder most people are using it as an fx unit. The MKII makes everything way easier!!
Ответитьman gets me so hyped
ОтветитьThis is gold! Great vid and thanks for sharing the process. Peace.
ОтветитьWhat a tedious way to make music!
ОтветитьMaybe you can try figure out where the peak frequency is of the kick and just filter that out with some band stop on the ambient pad.
ОтветитьMade a lot of sense. Thanks.
ОтветитьI love that cricket sound!
ОтветитьMuch respect for sharing your creativity...you have a new subscriber
Ответитьnew SP404, like the vibes.
ОтветитьPure inspiration, thanx🔥👍
ОтветитьSomeone give that cricket a job!
Ответить❤️❤️❤️
Ответитьi still don't understand the fascination with resample mode. I don't see the benefit of making a single track beat. this is not the 1800's. there are so many benefits to using the sequencer. why ignore them?
ОтветитьThis video made me realize why people are always remarking how the 404 "feels" better than so many modern samplers. They're thinking it's something inherent in the 404 but it's not the 404 at all... it's them. Admittedly, part of the reason for their assertion about "feel" is a direct result of the quantize function not being technically capable of quantizing anything Nevertheless, a lot of talented 404 users aren't giving themselves the credit they've earned.
This is actually the best "tutorial" for the 404 that I've watched (and I've watched a lot lately). It's a "practical" walk-through.
Watching this on my PC via a cable out of the headphone socket into a headphone splitter in the other input of the splitter I have a cable running from my PO-12, the splitter plugged into the input of my PO-133 with my Grado headphones plugged into that. Getting a little tangled up here. 😂
ОтветитьCool)
ОтветитьThis dude seems like he struggles so hard to make music... it’s entertaining
ОтветитьI've always wanted one of these so much but I know I'd have to trial and error out the wazo, which I don't have a problem with but this machine scares the living crap outta me lol. I mainly want one for the effects to link with my MPC but I'd love to learn this thing in and out so I could solo it as well.
ОтветитьSo good man, keep up the love
Ответитьthis beat so good wow and u did that so effortlessly
Ответить""You are dealt the cards you give..." --Ricky Tinez" --Michael Scott
ОтветитьLove your vids....thank you
ОтветитьAn inspiring journey through your amazing creative process...thank you man!
ОтветитьI have much machines (akai force, sp 606, mc 101, tr 8s, hydrasynth and more) but i don't know why my fav is the 404 lol
She is like a swiss knive, i love it.
The fastest resample ever
Ответить29 min for that? fuck...... no wonder everyone is a 'producer'
Ответитьyee
ОтветитьSo once you make it on the sp 404 you then record your creation on abelton? Or other software??
ОтветитьI love your SP-404 stuff.
ОтветитьLet those chords ride for 2 bars please! Haha dope shit though
ОтветитьHey man I have a little question unrelated to the video. I bought a Launchpad Pro MK3 recently and wanted to changed the actual color of Note mode, Chord mode, etc. but mostly Chord mode. I wanted to ask if there's a way to do it because I want it for live performance purposes with branding? Please reach out to me here or via instagram @stratus.wav
ОтветитьI’m trying to reach you with a question via PM on insta. It’s about the Sony a6600
Thanks
my brain hurts, I thought the Octatrack was intense. BUT!!!! this sounds Amazing!!!! :)
ОтветитьDude it's so nice to see a workflow in full like this. Thank you for doing these! I had no clue about the compressor switch either
ОтветитьJust once again I want to say how much love I have for you, I can in no way understand how you get this much atmosphere into your videos (that are just videos!) and it is so good that this is here in this world. I love it so much.
ОтветитьThere's a cricket in your room, but not on your patio? I haven't finished the video, but I really hope you sample that critcket.
Ответитьgood stuff again and again! thanks!
ОтветитьThe final piece is so sick dude!
Ответить🦗
ОтветитьFun watching you work on the SP. I always get a new insight on ways to use these samplers from your channel.
ОтветитьYo, you are the beat maker's Bob Ross! Thank you for the knowledge fam. Bows respectfully*
also, Dibia$e is a God 🙏
Jamming with Ricky n Cricky
ОтветитьI'd like to see a speedrum community develop surrounding making a beat in one of these.
ОтветитьI bought an SP404 to make lofi boombap but I can't stop using it to make house instead, love how it sound on this music style
ОтветитьAll of the urban ambience (and the damn crickets) really give this whole video a vibe
