I worked at McMurdo Station for two Austral summers, '86-'87, '87-'88, all told spent about 6 months on the ice!! Antarctica really is a special place!! I really wanted to go there since I found out about it during the IGY years!! I don't think I'd like one of these trips through, sorry!! To sissifie!!

I don't know why they hide the faces of mortals! Fear rather, He who created all things! You avoid that simple mortal know what he (God) created! You take possession of everything as if you were the owner! The Creator made this for everyone. The day will come when we will all stand before him to give an account of works, here in this kingdom that will one day fail, collapse and receive accordingly. No one can hide from the Creator of the heavens, the earth and everything in them. One day we will leave this body and stand before the One who created us.

This was beautiful to see and watch...but if there are multiple people staying in these and you have neighbors, the windows in the showers are a bit much :)
