Cracked my s10 screen this week. Still works fine but for how long i worry. Just trying to decide what to do, i really like this phone and hate to get a new phone but cant decide what one to get. S10 & S20 & S21 would have to get a used/refurbed phone. Or pay to get a screen replacement.

Just ebayed an S20 open box even though my S9 does all I need. Wanted a micro sd slot and it has 12gigs of ram. I always buy a few models back for 2-300 instead of 1000, and I use a laptop for most of my internetting. Needed a good camera though

I disagree with the camera lens drop test i saw videos where the s23 camera was better at absorbing the damage

Over three years with my s20 5g after accidentally drowning my s9 in saltwater. Miss the s9 fingerprint scanner on the back. I never was able to have the fingerprint scanner on the s20 display to work reliable with any screen protectors. I used a quality screen protector on the s9 and my glass was perfect when trading in to Samsung fit for the s20. I ended up not using any screen protector but the glass has a few cracks. I've been a longtime Samsung devotee with several devices but will likely be shipping alternatives when the time comes. No reason to upgrade yet.

Im watching this on my s7 edge and it's still holding up well. I can't give up my headphone jack . Samsung brings that back along with expandable storage and a charger in the box then I'll upgrade . If that happened it would end apple .

I am still using the S10. I find it hard to give up the 3.5mm jack and microSD slot. But it is stuck on the official Android 12 OS so I might have to upgrade next year. Also just to add, the S10 was the 1st Samsung phone to include Wi-fi 6. That is so surprising as Wi-fi 6 was not that common in 2019.
Oh, I just bought an S23 for my wife. The screen is actually a little smaller and longer even though both have 6.1in. Speed is of course generations ahead.

Curved displays are really bad, im glad they ditch this gimmick.

i use the s20 , see no reason to switch now. The display is great ( 2k), camera , sound, the performance is the same as the s23 practically, and the most beautiful design, but android updates will stop.

It would be nice to see a comparison of the charge time, how long you could watch videos for and how long you could just leave it on.

The top mid range phones such as the A71 now the A53 get overlooked. They have most of what the average Joe uses on a smart phone. Decent camera, good battery, decent speed. Most people get caught up in having to have the shiny new thing!! It's the biggest trick these massive corporate companies play on us each year. Do you honestly believe technology moves that fast that every 12 months you need a new mobile phone? Ask yourself what do you use the S23 for that you didn't use the S22 for? Most folks literally just text, call, browse the Internet and take the odd picture. Newsflash!! You don't need to spend over a grand each year to do that. Wake up people.

Proud owner of an S23. Samsung - Qualcomm combo really hit it out of the park this time with battery, heating control, performance and software. All in this perfect size. Little overpriced but great nonetheless.

Can you tell with the 1080p drop tho do you need it for smaller phones ?

I used to have the s10 man what an amazing phone

I'm gonna be honest I would be so happy if Samsung were to revive the Galaxy S7 Edge but with modern specs and I honestly wouldn't mind having a flat screen because that was the only bad part about it but it was just perfect elsewhere I loved the one I had. Curved screen sucked though.

still rocking with S20 i think there is nothing much to upgrade as my usage just watching YT, movies on 2k display and still decent camera with SD865!

s10 feels so good in hand. s8 also, feels like not holding a phone. actually they should just remake s10 and s8 with new chips. the camera doesnt matter if it could press down the price, for those who dont really put camera as top priority
