THX bro!
ОтветитьQuestion, if we set a speed ramp, but during the ramp, how do we add an effect during that time? Example, speeding up a drone clip, you want the to feel like it's going fast (thus the speed ramp to faster speed) but say you want the effect of a motion blur. When I cut that section the ramp goes away. I don't want the whole clip to have the motion blur, just during the ramp/speed adjust. Great video, plan to learn a lot from you, thank you kindly.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing beautiful video.😊😊😊
Ответитьthis is the ONE thing I cannot figure out how to do, I don't know why :(
Ответитьodd I dont have an automatic button
Ответитьyou, my friend have the best videos on Final Cut out there. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis video is a GOLD MINE, bro'. Thanks so much for your work and especially for this video. I've learnt so much.
ОтветитьA very useful tutorial. Many thanks Dylan.
ОтветитьThanks bro, it helped me a ton.
Ответитьhow do I change the position in a clip of a Blade speed point?
Ответитьbro!! i been looking!! for this! style of speed ramp for the the longest!! i had no idea about the speed blade! or the speed transition!! thanks!!
Ответитьso many helpful tips here. not all heroes wear capes
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьHello Sir! Thank you for this wonderful video. I have a question. My Final Cut Pro will not let me see the Blade Speed bars to ramp the speed up. Not sure why. Any tips?
ОтветитьSo useful thanks 😊 saved me hours of search since everything I needed is in this video
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьVery helpful. Subscribed
ОтветитьVery cool ! Thank you for sharing !
ОтветитьNice!!!!
ОтветитьRetime 🔥
ОтветитьI’m sure you’ve done a video on adding motion blur but no matter how hard I try to find it I can’t. Can you point me in the right direction
Ответитьjump cut at markers.... wow this one I didn't know. Thanks you again
ОтветитьHello Dylan. I always find transitions to be too "linear" how ever I set the grey bars. They just seem to ramp you to the next speed. Is there a way to s-curve transitions like in Premier for smoother transitions? I also wish there was a visual curve like for audio levels but that maybe asking too much. Thanks for awesome content. :)
ОтветитьHey Dylan! Thank you so much for your channel! It is Hands down the best and most comprehensive source of education and tutorials for all things FCPX and Motion. Thank you!
ОтветитьBro, your a speed boss ! thanks for this
ОтветитьDefinitely learned a lot in this one! Thanks for your time Dylan
Ответитьvery good explanation of speed ramp tools
ОтветитьBROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jesus man, I keep finding more stuff I don’t know!!!
I know this is an older video, but I would absolutely LOVE a tutorial for some Daniel Schiffer style speed ramping. Maybe I’m just slow but I still can’t get the same level of precision on my speed ramps Like with Resolve (they have the ramp curves). However, people are obviously doing it because I see the work.
I think for me I’m struggling with the grey bars the most.
Hope you’re doing well!
That was the best speed ramp video tutorial I’ve seen. I can learn a lot from you. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьOh, man. You just made my life so much easier. Thank you! You explain things so clearly.
ОтветитьLearning a lot from you! Thank you very very much for what you're doing! All blessings 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
ОтветитьThe details! man I didn't know half these things. Thanks
Ответитьawesome it help alot, thanks
Ответитьgreat summary. I was looking to make a palpitation/pulsation effect, I suppose the rewind tool is the best way, with an evolving loop that moves quickly backward and goes forward at normal speed, each time starting a bit later so that it is not a perfect loop ... I think it is going to take some computation to get it right ... but you sent me in the right direction
Ответитьthe problem with jump and cuts to music with the method you mentioned is that the clip changes the length and you loose the beats
ОтветитьYour information is brilliant, but for mere mortals, it's impossible to take in at the speed you deliver it. You will have a large fan base in the future, but remember, some of us cannot process that fast!!
ОтветитьIs it possible to change the “cut” position after you use the blade/ramp? I was never able to do it. Many thanks
ОтветитьExcellent presentation! Thanks! New subscriber…looking forward to checking out the rest of your videos
ОтветитьNice. Thanks bro.
ОтветитьThis was so useful! There were so many things I learned that I was doing manually but I did not know could be done so much quicker and easier (like speed timing to music using markers). Thank you so much for this!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU !!!!!! Great video!
ОтветитьSome grey tips there thanks, keep them comming
ОтветитьFantastic. I wonder if preserve pitch would help with slow mo gunshots. Because it normally drags it’s out to a echoey sound… hmm. Gotta try it!
You nailed it again! Thank you!
Great overview man! And solid explanation between frame blending and optical flow. Another tip is when you make a speed ramp, double click the speed retime point, click 'edit' next to source frame, and you can move the speed retime point to wherever you'd like. That helps me fine tune my speed ramps if I need to change them to another point in the clip.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial on the retime editor.... Love the way you explain every features in detail. Clear and concise. I have a question regarding the frame rate of the project if you are using different cameras with different frame rates. Can you mix them on the timeline using automatic speed feature on a project that is 30 FPS? Thank you! 🙏
ОтветитьThanks a lot I didn’t know how to use everything. I’ve been using them but not as good as I could’ve been thanks a lot
ОтветитьSuper helpful Dylan!
ОтветитьBeen using FCPX for years and had no idea about the Hold Frame (I’d always end up having to use adjustment layers to match the video and freeze frame).
Thanks for covering this in such great detail 🙌🏿🙌🏿
