I have a 1 gallon keg, can I make a 5 gallon beer recipe and let fermented beer sit until ready to force carb individual gallons
ОтветитьBoiling do not cause loss of aroma and tate of malt?
Ответитьuse metric system plz, all ppl outside us use it!!!!!
ОтветитьBeautifully well done.
ОтветитьI've got the idea of turning my living room into a pub now after watching this (the microbrewery will be the kitchen), just need to get a dartboard ...... A pint in a average pub SE England is about £6, and in the Wetherspoons it's about £2.65 whereas an home-brewed pint is about 78 pence .. It's knowing what to do and doing it right and you'll save a good bit of dosh, you will also get pissed out yer nut on a fiver 🤣 wot cost of living crisis 🤣🍻 .... Cheers 🍻
ОтветитьDo we need to add soap to the batch?
ОтветитьLove it ! Clear and to the point.
ОтветитьSo what’s the percentage per bottle?
ОтветитьI dont know man" seems like such an ordeal and then you have to let it set for a few weeks..of course theres that satisfaction that you made it yourself, but then there's a satisfaction if you drive to the store and buy it you could have it then and right there.
ОтветитьNo more Budweiser for me. Well for have not had beer for a while. Gonna get me some now!
ОтветитьGreat video. But that 4-6 week timeline seems ridiculous.
ОтветитьI feel like you skipped a important step
ОтветитьWhat ratio you used sir in every ingredients ?
ОтветитьWhen you were doing the sanitation in the fermenter you didn't rinse out the sanitatizer is this ok?
ОтветитьWhy don’t we squeeze the bag?
ОтветитьComparing this to Mac and Cheese....You should slap yourself!
ОтветитьChat GPT gave me a recipe for a stout with a lasting creamy head if anyone wants to try it.
Sure, here is a recipe for a home brew stout with a creamy lasting head:
Ingredients:
6 lbs Dark Dry Malt Extract
1 lb Roasted Barley
1 lb Crystal Malt (80L)
1 lb Flaked Barley
1 oz Chinook hops
1 oz Willamette hops
1 package Irish Ale yeast
3/4 cup Priming Sugar
Instructions:
Steep the Roasted Barley and Crystal Malt in 2 gallons of water at a temperature of 155°F for 30 minutes.
Remove the grains and add the Dark Dry Malt Extract and Flaked Barley to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Add the Chinook hops and boil for 60 minutes.
Add the Willamette hops and boil for another 10 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and cool the wort to 70°F.
Transfer the wort to a sanitized fermenting vessel and pitch the Irish Ale yeast.
Ferment the beer for 2 weeks at a temperature of 65°F.
Transfer the beer to a bottling bucket and add the priming sugar.
Bottle the beer and let it condition for 2-3 weeks at room temperature.
Chill the beer in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.
To achieve a creamy, lasting head, make sure to pour the beer slowly and steadily into a clean, dry glass, leaving about an inch of headspace at the top. The head will be more likely to stick around if the glass is clean and free of any oils or residues.
How much does it end up costing per bottle?
ОтветитьI look this up because I really enjoy a good beer and would like to make it on my own but would really like to know if this is cheaper than buying your favorite market brand beers from shelf? Bud light!
ОтветитьThanks for the explanation. Very informative! I just bought a starter kit from your company. Will be buying everything in the future on your site. Been interested in home brewing for a long time. I will come back to my comment here when everything is complete and after I have had the first beer. Thanks!
ОтветитьBrewing was always my dream 😊
Ответитьthanks for this. Just bought a still and considered making a batch of beer from time to time. This video made the process very clear
ОтветитьWhy the total removal of any mention of gravities?
Ответить💜
ОтветитьHops yeast sugar
Ответитьhi, I need an answer. I guess your fermantation process was finished at your first 5 gallon bucket (your FG: 1010) . but you take your beer to secondary bottle. why did you do that? if your fermantation process is finished (if your fg is 1010) why do you take all beer to any other bottle and wait more time...? thanks.
ОтветитьThis is a con
ОтветитьThat’s a hell of a home kitchen
ОтветитьWhat is the cost per bottle
ОтветитьVery nice. What would be the ABV of this beer and what would you say is the cost per bottle?
ОтветитьHow does it taste?
ОтветитьMusic disturbing
Ответить"If you can make mac and cheese from a box..."
Me: Alright!
"Without help..."
Me: AAUGH!
Doesn't a starter kit make it so you don't make your own beer that you want to put on the market? Like a oroginal recipee
ОтветитьWhat is that type of hose you are using to transfer into bottles and such?
ОтветитьI am a small entroprinor i would like to learn if you have cource it would be much more pragmatic. Because of Geo location charges will go scary. But with the help of you people i would like to do business . I would like you to teach me.. Your video is so good i learn a lot but still i want to know more.
ОтветитьI have recently started brewing at home so this instruction video is really useful to understand all the way.
ОтветитьMaking beer is fairly easy....the real hell starts on bottling day. There are many genius and completely useless methods of siphoning from fermenter to bottle or bottling bucket....just suck the damd tube...its so much easier and the risk of infection is negligible
ОтветитьI am watching you in 2022 from Southeast Asia and wonder if you're to be available in any store in Thailand or Vietnam.
ОтветитьNever done beer, but i'm studying with this videos. Question, isn't it a problem to add 2 gallons of cold water to fermenter, since it hasn't been boiled or sanitized?
ОтветитьYou didn't rinse out the cleaning solution now there's soap in the beer
Ответить"Don't squeeze the bag".
There are people squeezing the bag, and people lying :D
Can i brewing beer without malt extract?
ОтветитьThis is so complex, and alarmingly incomplete!
Coopers has the entire process done completely with one of their kits!
Everything included, and a great tasting result.
Get your act together!
My kit from you guys didn't come with the auto siphon. You say, this week or that week, how should we know when the beer is ready?
ОтветитьPlease cut out the music. I had to leave before seeing the video because of the stupid fucking music. You have over a million views, and only 7000 likes. That should tell you something.
ОтветитьWould recycling bottles with proper sanitizing be effective or is it best to buy new ones?
ОтветитьSoapy beer
ОтветитьIt's alot easier morons to buy your own beer and leave it to the pros dummies
ОтветитьThis is the first video I seen where it's OK to use tap water.
My opinion, that's what makes your beer/whiskey unique.
