I heard from a Bengali family in Neil Island when I was there in 2009. They said after independance of India from the British and when East Pakistan was formed, about 500 Hindu families from East Pakistan were settled in the Andamans island by the Nehru family to save them from illtreatment by the Pakistani occupiers. Each family was given FREE 10 acres of land pair of buffelows and cows to live in their new home in the Andaman islands. These families cut and cleared the pristine forests of hard wood trees like the Maddock tree, since there were so many of those hard wood trees and no demand for them these families simply burned the cut trees cleared the land and built huts began rice farming. That's is how majority is Bengal speaking population in the a Andamans. Poor Mother Nature was raped by the humans. In contrast look at the negroid tribes... They have not destroyed the islands where they settled they live in harmony with Nature. So there are no concrete or tarred roads on those islands where the shompens and sentinalies live. Our Indians will convert pristine nature to sewage and filth choppat patties as in main land cities in India. Amit Sir please write your comment.

Could you answer my query please? If the existence of Andamanese people on these islands dates back only 2200 years then how come there is a supposition of existence 30,000 years ago? To suppose an isolation of people 30,000 years ago, they would have to obviously exist more than 2200 years ago 🤷🏾‍♂️
