No. nullDC worked better when I was using a $50 refurbished 2001 PC 16 years ago that had a Pentium 4 Processor, 512 MB RAM and a no name GPU(Definitely an APU) that was created by Compaq in 2001. The PC I built that I'm on right now contains a Ryzen 5 5600X, RX 5700 XT and 32 GB of G.Skill Dual Channel 3200 Mhz DDR4. And don't let me forget abouut the Samsung 970 Plus that is my OS drive and the best drive of over 1000 drives, the 2 TB WD Black SN850 I use for gaming.

I thought you said they were constantly working on this. Going off of their last stable release, I see why it's dead. Think I should try their latest dev release from 3 months ago? Redream has shown me to be nothing but a joke so far. While the English dub of Shenmue 2 had no audio? Tried running Granda 2 which had audio but the picture was garbage. Arifacting like crazy. Again, something nullDC has never done. And these cocksuckers have the nerve to ask to be paid for a "premium" version? Well if the free version is garbage, I'm definitely not paying for a "premium" version of this disaster.

And this was more than 4 tears ago that you made this video. So I can only imagine it was a complete dumpster fire as much garbage as the latest release is. Just found out about this trash a few days ago and have only tried 2 isos so far but Shenmue 2 english dub was muted while Grandia 2 was artifacting incredibly bad. Today may/2022 Xbox One systems are having emulator support and it would be great to have Redream running in this video consoles.
There is a Dreamcast emulator running now in Xbox but isn't stable. I can imagine an emulator like Redream in Xbox one, it must be almost 100% compatible with it since Xbox has enough power to run Redream smoothly.

So.... I have been a strong advocate and supporter of this emulator for a couple years.. but nothing has changed in the input latency department, which is just huge compared to flycast in retroarch. It actually makes some games like FX Unit Yuki (for example) unplayable...(Demul is also a lot more responsive than redream).
The fact that Windows CE games are still not supported in April 2021, and that retroarch/flycast WITH upscaling is 100% free, means I can no longer recommend this emulator.
Yes, it has a nice easy GUI and "just works", and $5 is nothing to unlock upscaling and to support the developer. However, he's just not fixing the main issue of input lag, and there's too many games that are unplayable. I think the reason ETA and others really push this emulator is because of the incredibly low system requirements to run it, however flycast is just better in almost every way. Combine retroarch with launchbox and you have an even better front end than redream.

ETA could you revisit redream in an update? The developer build has a few WinCE games running. Maybe try Sega Rally 2?

Can someone help me? Everytime I open redream (I have premium) a couple things load into my desktop. A redream.log file and a folder that says cache with the video game picture and a couple other note files you can open.

How do I get these to stop popping up on my desktop everytime I open redream?

i need some help, i currently have a Samsung tab pro 8.4 running sd800 and adreno 330, i know its old and out dated but i have android 6.0 and android 10 running on it trying different Os. i tried redream v 1.83 1.80 1.77 1.76 and some run better than others BUT they all have the video upside down running @ 60fps as soon as i use vertical sync i get video up right but the fps drop to 10fps. how can i fix this issue without using vertical sync. my files are .cdi and .chd they load but only issue is the upside down video

Can anybody help me with the 4k on the emulator? I bought the license but I don't know where to put the "redream.key" file to make the emulator 4k :(, please I need help.

I will have to try it out first, especially on Dreamcast games that push the system or have slowdown in other emulators; (NullDC, I am looking at you.) I have had trouble with Zombie Revenge on weaker PCs. Plus would like to see how translated games like Napple Tale run on Redream.
I will say the games you tested looked better, though upscaled.
