As an American, I see a lot about Iran on the news, but as I’ve educated myself about other nations I’ve come to learn that the news I see never paints the full picture.

Hopefully in my lifetime nations can reconcile their differences. Allowing people from all nations to travel and see the abundance of beauty and culture our world has to offer ❤

I sympathize with the people who overthrew the government in 1979 (maybe not the ones who held the hostages). But I also understand that it kind of backfired and ended up creating another autocratic government eventually.

This was great ! Thanks for the detailed history. Had a Persian girlfriend here in the USA and she would always tell me about the shah ! Always wanted to visit the world city of Tehran but unfortunately due to politics i don’t think I can. We will always have intimate conversations about culture & I would exchange information about my Puerto Rican heritage & she would always tell me how growing up in iran 🇮🇷 was like & one last thing, Persian women are extremely attractive. They’re so beautiful.

This was very interesting and Persia is really a great culture. I miss my wonderful Persian friends back in the Bay Area.

Persia and Iran are NOT interchangeable terms. Iran is home to many diverse ethnicities, and the persians are one of them. You also have the baloches, the mazanderanis, the lurs, the kurds, and so on.

Again false information about Mosaddeq. Mosaddeq was a dictator that orchestrated a coup against Shah and Shah based on constitution had right to dismiss him and he did. There was no need for a CIA plan to dismiss Mosaddeq. Also the parliament was against Mosaddeq and he dissolved the parliament illegally.

Iranian history is so rich, but one of the conclusions you find is that it was so influential, so powerful, so renowned, for its cosmopolitan culture, the art, the architecture, the wares and products. Where is that cosmopolitanism now? No wonder Central Asia is so completely disinterested in Iran culturally speaking, who wants some autocracy forcing shit down your throat and repressing freedoms, nothing very profitable nor popular in that.
