After first 30 min Yugoslavia played with 10 men. Having this advantage argentinians werent able to make a goal. Yugoslavians had plenty chances, but didnt use them. Stupid penalty shooting decided (a rare moment where Maradona failed his penalty shoot). But one must be said, Argentina had one of the best goalkeepers in football history.

Any team that played against Argentina in 1990 world cup, didn't deserved to lose the match,be it Russia in group, Brazil in Prequarter finals, Yoguslavia in quarter finals, Italy in semi finals. The Argentine played the whole tournament in a very dour and boring style, they committed lot of fouls on the opposition players, infact few of them were lucky not to be shown Red Card! In a nutshell,a very clumsy bunch of players, totally in contrast to team of 1986!
