How Long Does it Take to Paint a Warhammer Army?

Man i recently decided to do a few S2D in yellow and that led me to a Brent video, Happy Days.

I know this was a TON of work, but I would love another video like this from you. Itching for another AoS army by chance?

Just out of curiosity, what magnets are you using for you bases? And what's the putty stuff you're using to adhere them?

I really enjoy coming back to videos like this. They’re great fun to watch and really nice to listen to while doing a long painting session

After watching the whole video - the time you spend with the bases was probably well invested and didn't contribute too much to the total project time. Also I do love cats and yours are always a welcome bonus in your vids and I agree on everything you said about climate change (3 years ago).

Been loving your work as I wait for my resin printer to arrive so I can get back into model painting. Also good to find another fan of Brent Weeks' work! I just got his latest release and can't wait to dig into it.

I burst out laughing at the look on your face right at the start. We've all been there. I tried to do about $1000 worth of Necrons from sprue to complete in six weeks. I looked like that the whole time, and I did NOT make it.

So you might have done this in the three years since, but have you thought of making a texture roller for the bases? I've seen a couple channels do something like that for making dungeon tiles but it'd work pretty well for textured bases.

I got to the point where you were painting armour trim black and as someone who has been plodding away at some nurgle trim, that resonated with me.

Great video. I like learning, and listening to you makes the time go by so chill. But when it comes to climate change the video took a left turn. It brought back all of the fight and rhetoric that I was looking to digress from. Use your platform nonetheless.

Great vid and I loved the measured climate change 'rant'. The science is in but it seems to me that too many politicians, are engaged in a bizarre game of brinkmanship. Profit now and let others worry about our continued existence later.

Man, I'm falling in love with this channel. First video I saw, I thought, "man, goobertown is the perfect name, dude is straight goofy."

But most of his videos are this great Bob Ross style of videos, great to hobby too.

After a stressful day, I like to cook dinner for my family with this playing, as well as when I build/paint or just research techniques as I enjoy my hobby.

He has helped keep me inspired. To the point where I have zero pile of shame, and only like 10 models left to finish painting (but most are at least 90% complete).

You are definitely not afraid of hard work! Three years on, we are getting hit by storm after storm with record floods in New Zealand, heavy rain during the the traditional dry season, and there are still people with their head's in the sand, you couldn't have been more right.

Gordon and Lola would get along, she likes to grab my brush once in a while and even steal a mini if I'm dumb and leave it to dry on the table instead of on the shelf she can't get. I call it battle damage.

Finding this 3 years later, I'll check the channel for later editions. I don't know it was fair of you to count that basing time against the 24 hours.

Love all your videos, will try this paint scheme on some models. One tip is to take a look at Black Magic Craft´s description of the videos, he links the products that´s been used in the video and also adds alternatives for us living in Europe. Thought I´d just give you that tip if you haven´t seen it! Keep up your amazing work!

There's something appropriate about a gaming supply company having an autism charity.

It does look like the charity mostly does advocacy between parents & schools to get autistic kids the accommodations they need, which is a good thing. Not sure how much I would trust that charity, since I don't know whether it's run by autistic people who won't just force kids to pretend to be allistic.

Still, so long as they're just giving parents the tools to better support autistic kids I think it's a good thing. The fact they use the rainbow infinity symbol and I don't see any puzzle pieces on their materials is a good sign.

Strongly disliked the talk of climate science. You don't know what you're talking about in this regard. I am a scientist. The amount of politicians, actors, and artists that talk about "the science" with no understanding of the scientific process or conclusions is disgraceful.

Examples: The Earth is currently in the tail end of the current ice age. The 550ppm carbon in our atmosphere pales to the 1000ppm that existed millions of years before our evolution. Current solar panels do not save as much atmospheric pollution in their lifetime as the carbon made to produce them. The land required from solar farms and wind farms is worse for native species than fossil fuel usage. Nuclear energy is by far the cleanest but politicians on both sides tend to avoid it because of lobbyists and populations fear of anything nuclear. I could go on but feel free to fact check any of this. Consider who is telling you "The Science." Fucking boils my piss.
