Did you know that some airlines charge you extra for your suitcases if they’re all under the same passenger?! (So 2 suitcases under 1 person’s name is more expensive than 2 suitcases under 2 people’s names) 😳

We got to the check in desk in Hawaii as a family of 4. The agent asked us if we have any luggage to check in and we said “yes, 2 suitcases”.

We did NOT specify that we have 1 suitcase *each* so he put them both under Simon’s name 🤯 and charged us $30 for the first suitcase and $100 for the second one 🤪

Yes, he assumed that as a family of 4, only 1 of us is traveling with suitcases and the rest of us will wear the same clothes for a month 😅🤪

Oh and did I mention we had already paid at the self service kiosk but it broke and took the payment but didn’t print out the tags? 🤣 Overall we paid $200 instead of $60 🤦🏻‍♀️
