I used to play on Tamriel Reloaded exclusively for years. But, recently I've switched out to Noble Skyrim, as well as Happy Little Trees and Verdant. So far, it's the best my game's looked. Overall, it stays true to Skyrim more than Tamriel Reloaded, and the textures seem more on par with the original game without remaining to samey.

Tamriel reloaded all the way. I've played Skyrim for so many hours that the fresh look tamriel reloaded brings is honestly amazing. I also think that the textures are a little more detailed, however I can understand the people who prefer an upscaled version of the classic vanilla style, which I believe Noble skyrim brings. The flora of Tamriel reloaded is superior as well imo

I personally use both of them, noble skyrim is here to retexture everything that TRHD (and TRHD+) don't

"1- Download Tamriel Reloaded HD SE and copy content into Skyrim/data folder and click "yes" to overwrite when prompted or install it with NMM.
2- Activate the Tamriel Reloaded HD SE.esp in NMM.
3- If you want to use any optional file install via NMM or copy content into Skyrim/data folder and click "yes" to overwrite when prompted."

Im new to modding so please bare with me with this noob question. Can someone please help me with No.2 for the installation processs? it says "Activate the HD SE.esp in NMM" so that means I can only activate this mod with NMM? I was thinking id only need to simply copy/paste some files in, didnt know id need an extra app for this.

Однозначно "Noble Skyrim" победил! В "Tamriel Reloaded" разве что архитектура хорошо выполнена, а в Noble лучше сделан ландшафт...

Noble Skyrim still kicks ludicrous amounts of ass. Combine it with SMIM, Ruins Clutter Improved and Realistic Water 2, and the game looks jaw-dropping.

I personally am going for a photo-realistic updated Skyrim with minimum craziness (lots of overwritten texture packs) at the moment. Noble combined with Skyland and Flora Overhaul for me.

So for me,
Static Mesh Improvement Mod - staple
ELFX interior - god ray for the win
Flora Overhaul - includes fuller, taller trees
Noble Skyrim - for 2kHD textures
Rustic Windows - gorgeous opaque medieval-style stained glass windows (whole series is quite beautiful, this one on its own was a test, again trying to keep things simpler, and was recommended on Skyland - Whiterun
Rugnarok - nice tapestries and rugs
Skyland Series

with my weather mod, NAT, it's quite gorgeous thus far.

so for me, Noble Skyrim gets my vote

The only thing I'm not a fan of in Noble is the dirt roads and riften area floor textures

Perfect, thanks. I personally prefer Noble Skyrim. Tamriel Reloaded has a lot of detail in its textures, but they seem too busy, and they don't go great with each other like Noble's do.

Vanilla still looks the best. I hate it when texture mods try to change too much.

UGH, so hard. I'm sticking to Noble still. Sometimes I was like meh, Tamriel looks kinda bad there, then I was like...dang, Tamriel looks way better here. So I might have to pick and chose, but I think I'll just wait haha. Thanks for this Rook!

Honestly both mods change a bit too much. Tamriel Reloaded kills the Riften woods. However Noble Skyrim somehow mutilates Whiterun and Solitude atmosphere-wise. Aren't there any simple HD retextures?
