Where can you actually find this rare, very first print of this game?! I’ve been looking everywhere for this!

This is a great game that holds up well and I still a favorite of mine on the SNES

I love how this commercial always showed Mario defeating Bowser, basically beating the game.

So this make here is the very first copy I’m guessing? It’s the same as the game they demonstrated to the public at Walmart many years ago? Which allowed a hidden water level to be accessed in the big lake above yoshis island 1! I know the Walmart non commercial game allowed that possible, so that’s why I’m assuming the first release you could buy with the system was the same as the demo version.

The last time I played this game was ten years ago, and even after getting through all the secret levels, I beat it within only two hours of straight play.

this really must be an earlier version that they're showcasing.

the title screen is a bit different from the actual game and also Mario walking over from vanilla dome 3 to the ghost house when none of those levels appear to have been cleared.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System And Super Mario World 30th Birthday!

Today is the 30th Anniversary of both Super NES and Super Mario World.

Now that I'm older, I just noticed how Mario walked around Vanilla Dome when none of the pathways are opened.... Must've been a clip of debug footage. This commercial was ran to death back in 1991.

I wanted one since 1992 but we were too poor. I finally got snes in 1997 with money I made from cutting grass. I guess it felt even better since I did it on my own. Even if all my friends had moved on to playstation and n64 by then. Oh well.

This commercial says "a bit more" 16 times, implying that the Super Nintendo is 16 bit.

Is that background music an actual song i can listen too?

This is what made the SNES hot to own but the Genesis had their exclusives as well with Streets of Rage 2, Sonic, Shinobi, Vectorman. Back in the days when game consoles were just straight fun gaming, no DLC purchases, annoying system updates
