In the movie, all these steeper sections seem flatter than in reality.
ОтветитьSuper Alex. I never managed to get to the bottom. There wasn't enough snow. Thanks.
ОтветитьHis tuck needs a bit of work. 😂
Looked like fun!
Edit: all these people crying about how close he was are casuals, clearly know nothing about skiing, he was in complete control.
This is the jandri run or am I going insane?
ОтветитьThat's a lot of freaking vertical. Like skiing from the top of Arapahoe Basin to Denver.
ОтветитьBro fährt da runter wie so nen shyzo, pass doch auf die anderen auf hey
ОтветитьVidéo satisfaisante mais j'aurais aimé voir des pistes noires, c'est ce que j'aurais dis si j'étais aigri
ОтветитьYou’re a good skier, but you ski like a tool.
ОтветитьHi, which slopes did you use on this?thx
ОтветитьLooks fun wish we had long ones like this in the us
ОтветитьL2A is my alltime favorite and I am coming back again this March. I might try to challenge myself with this video :) Maybe I'll even make a video of my own, we'll see :)
Ответитьwhat app is this please?
ОтветитьYour disregard for other people’s safety is disgusting mate.Weve all come across you and you piss everyone off.If that’s how you ski every time you will hurt someone one day.
ОтветитьA pure joy to watch. Thank you for uploading.
ОтветитьAlways a slow sign when you have to go fast to make it
ОтветитьNice video, question : how do you get the km/h ??
ОтветитьGreat video and run, Alex. Were you using a helmet or chest mount? Thank you!
Ответитьhow nice to go fast past beginners. rude.
ОтветитьWell done⛷⛷
ОтветитьAwesome recordings, but you ride too dangerously against other people. Please keep more distance, don't assume things you can't see (what's behind this or that).
Ответитьha ha ha " I already made the thumbnail and a guy gotta make a living somehow lift passes are expensive "
ОтветитьJust looking for advice which one is better the Rockies or the alpes
ОтветитьMy question is: How much time does it take to get to the top again?
ОтветитьDon't bring your slope-side arm in front of you while doing your turns. First it makes you look like a starter and secondly you should always be facing the slope. I know a lot of people that learnt to ski on their own and that have this bad habbit. Try what I told you and I am sure you will immidiatly see the difference !
ОтветитьGood skiing and safe too, actually considerate, you should see what happens in some EU resorts... especially new snowboarders, the worst
ОтветитьHow did you keep your gopro battery from dieing from cold? Also how much years of exp do yo have skiing
ОтветитьImpressive...
I would have been forced to stay and relax my legs at least 5 times during that run...
I tried the supposed longest run in Europe in Chamonix with at 22 km length and 2808m drop in alitude just for the experience of it.
That was quite OK, but this run seems to be a lot more fun...
Wysoki poziom umiejętności. Mega kontrola nad nartami. Respekt
ОтветитьAh man I miss skiing so much. Soon.
Ответитьthumb up for views and thumb down for riding too close to other people
ОтветитьWhy do you do 100 k/h on public pistes. There are kids around who doesn’t understand what they are doing. You are. Completely irrisponsible! If you think you can Go fast Enter a competition and race in a controlled environment. Any idiot can Go fast!
ОтветитьWhere do you get the urge from to get as close to other skiing or snowboarding individuals. Give the others some space, you don't know if they are experienced or beginners, it could be really frightening for a beginner to have someone pass you like that or even dangerous since they are very unpredictable.
Also don't be a dick, banners with the text "attention" or "slow down" aren't placed there for nothing. In most times you had plenty of time to shift to the side where's more space to pass but you chose the tight gap every time it's unnecessary uncalled-for and antisocial as fuck
VERTICAL ? C'MON...
ОтветитьCool!
I was in Les Deux Alpes in January 22 and I did this descent a few times. probably not at this speed, as there were a lot of people at this time. Thanks for sharing.
An incredible run! While I think skiing looks fun, about a month or so back internally fractured my elbow while learning to ski, and while it is healing I doubt that I'll ever have full range of extention and contraction in that elbow.
But still - that looked fun!
Pistensau
Ответитьvery very optimistikal tahometer :D he drive 20km/h and show 64 km/h :D :D good fake :D
ОтветитьNice run! I struggle to get anywhere near 100kph, as I'm usually wearing a summit jacket over my windstopper, which creates far too much resistance to go that fast. I used to ski Val d'Isere at least once a season, which has some decent runs from the top of the glacier, though haven't been to France since the start of the pandemic. One of my favourite runs is in Ischgl, Austria, which is 11km, top to bottom, with a good mix of black and reds, including some mogul and off-piste options. There are longer runs (17k), where you can ski into Switzerland, though much of it's quite flat and it can get very busy with duty free shoppers. The main thing that stands out for me when comparing France with Austria is that the best Austrian resorts have better lifts than most of the resorts in France and it tends to be a bit cheaper too. Incidentally, and without wanting to seem too critical, some of the shots where your shadow appears suggests you occasionally use too much upper body in your turns, which reduces your control over the skis, and although you are clearly an inter-advanced skiier, you could give a tiny bit more consideration to other skiiers, as even at 30mph, if one of them turns into you you're going to hurt them. Just saying!
ОтветитьSeems like heaven to ski on
Ответитьhaha, using slipstream on slow parts. absolutely love it
ОтветитьA very good video. Thank You.
For those of you wishing to practice the longest run at Les 2 Alpes in the winter,
you can go from the max top to the min bottom, which is from 3600m to 1000m.
Instead of turning right when descending to Les 2 Alpes as depicted in Alex Wrigglesworth ' s video,
you turn left and descend to Venosc.
It is 2600m of vertical fall in a very beautiful and very long run.
The only " detail " is the enormous amount of time you lose to climb from 1000m back to 3600m !
Just 2 things more : you need to be a skilled skier and you
only can ski to Venosc in january when snowy.
I wish you all good runs and I wish myself
to go and ski someday in the US,
which is my dream , a dream
I have written in my
to-do list
I have written : skiing in the USA, skiing in Asia or New Zealand, skiing in South America 🎿⛷⛷⛷🎿
Close to people on the drags at that speed is criminally insane. Like and subscribe.......more like criticise and shun. Your a clown without the red nose.
Ответитьwhere is the part where you get 100 km/h
Ответить
