How to remove a device from your Google Account

I find Google really need to look into device managing system they currently have, I mean why can't Google simply allow remove devices that we no longer use/own/lost listed under our Google account, why can't Google just simply add an option to select and remove device you no longer want to associate with your Google account? For a person who like purchase new phones for experience and sell it out after awhile, it's so difficult to manage device lists that is growing but unable to remove devices from device list that I no longer own.

Google are a pain in the butt ! I bought a new android tablet and google wont let me set it up because my old tablet wont accept the verification from the new tablet to recognise its me signing on to a new tablet. The only way is to remove my whole account on my old device and that means I will lose everything!! Google wont even let me change my default old tablet to my mobile phone number for verification !!! Even google help are no good as most questions google have disabled instead of answering customers questions ! Ive had to return the new tablet as I cant use it!! No point in buying an android tablet so will have to look at ios ipads now!
