Why Digital Nomads Should "NOT" move to Vietnam

I must confess that apart from loving and enjoying the Vietnamese cuisine for years, I hadn't given much thought about visiting Vietnam. However, now post COVID it's time to dust off my passport which hasn't been blessed with any stamp for few years already and to make plans! Vietnam ranks high in my wishlist as ever before!!

I missed this episode until now. As usual, very nicely put together... Please, bring us more personal stories from the digital nomads themselves and expats. That would be very interesting.

Why your embassy in Malaysia are so bad organized.... I think Thailand it is better then vietnam.... Simply because they're tourist oriented. Vietnam have always being in my heart but how my visa was handled in Malaysia was so poor. Tell me how to visit Vietnam I have my money not for work or anything. I would work remotely as a psychiatric mental health nurse practioner for either a US, Canadian or Australian company so my situation is a bit different. Is it because as a U.S. American I have to apply for a visa, pay $50 and get only 30 days in return while in Malaysia I fly in announced and get 90 days on the spot, at no cost, no questions asked?

🤲 Stop and ask why come to Vietnam ? No mention about amazing magnificent pagodas and churches , places to worship and build spiritual filial values and faith and family bonds! These pagodas and churches that desperately need donations to maintain and to provide air conditioning !maintenance and food and such for people that maintain and live in them for us to visit them? Due to the climate change and drastic dangerous overheating ,Vietnam is experiencing serious environmental change due to equatorial location and of course industrial growth . Instead always hear about cheap cost of living and food ?? and cheap women brainwashed by western educational institutions media ,and forced inequality and market exploitation of low wages and exploitation of rampant ignorant overpopulation in big cities .

I don’t understand any Asian Country that they don’t offer „OnLine Worker Visas“ for foreigners 🤔 as they earn money outside the Asian country but spend it inside.
These people will pay tax, spend money in the country - what do you want more 🤔 ah, forgot, the Government has enough money and benefits for normal people in Vietnam who could rent, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. etc. Who cares 👊
