Fixing a bricked modded 3DS

Hi I was wondering if my 3ds LL (japanese model) could possibly be fixed... long story, I modded it as soon as I got it around a year ago, no issues there, everything worked fine and I could play all of my games as normal, but today I decided I wanted to region change it (since all of the settings and practically everything on the console was in japanese) so I tried to do it and I failed miserably and it looked like all of my games had vanished and the theme I had was gone and basically just looked like a factory reset, so, of course i panicked, I (for some reason) thought I downloaded the wrong version of the region change link, so I tried downloading the version for new 3ds models and i think that's what completely messed up my ds... now there's an error message whenever i try to turn it on saying "unable to mount CTRNAND or load the CTRNAND FIRM" etc, I've tried fixing it with how the 3ds.hack website states but it didn't work, please tell me there's some way it can be fixed, whether it means paying for someone to fix it or anything... though, if all of my game progress and data is for sure lost i'll probably just give up completely

My 3Ds was modded an I took it apart to fix an unplugged shoulder button and when I put it back together and booted it up it said creating home page then
It says the micro sd is full and it deleted all of my apps except normal ds games I had installed but when I open them they get an error

I get an error when i try using h shop, Anemo, FBI apps ect. It says the sd card has been removed and arm9?.. idk how to fix it :/

Do you also work on 2ds'? (2dses, 2dss, 2ds's you know what mean) Because I am thinking about modding my 2ds and if it gets bricked or broken want to know if you could fix it.

I lost the back up datas from my 3ds i used a new SD card so i have more storage but the 3ds folders that are essential for the 3Ds to work ig are now gone ig thats why my is still not working what can i do? Are they online folders for the 3Ds i can download it and transfer it to the SD card? So i have like a reseted 3DS? Please someone help im so desperate 😭

I get that screen when a game I use cheats on breaks I thought it was a crash onto a soft brick but it boots back up just fine

Luma3DS is not written into the ctrnand AND this 3ds does not have the latest version of Luma3DS cfw

This happened to my red o3ds in 2021 because i tried deleting the cfw, didnt fix it until may 2022, cant believe it only took 1 file to fix lol.

Thank you so much, my 3ds is working again, thanks for the help. Instead of putting another SD card in the 3ds, I just took it out and it seems like it's working okay. I don't know if it's a stupid question, but if I put my old SD card in would my system brick again?

I had pretty much the same problem but once I got to the luma configuration and pressed start, my screen goes black and the audio plays for about 2 seconds and it just shuts off. Idk if there’s any why I can fix this…

hi, when i try to turn on my nintendo 3ds the screens stay black while the blue led lights up, the nintendo doesn't even make any sound, i read around that it could be a problem with the wifi card inside so i should open it but the problem is that two screws I can't remove them so consequently I can't open it. I'm desperate, I've tried everything, can you help me?

I have a original 3DS, it was modded I think with Luma, about 2017, it was an update that I didn't make that softbrick the console, the only solution by that time was opening the console and by wires, conect it to a computer to update the nand, now I'll try this, let's see what happens

Hello, I wanted to ask if there was any chance I could possibly fix my 3DS XL from a sort of soft brick it has. The 3DS works just fine for any application that is not a 3DS Game or a service that uses wifi, which broke recently around last year now. It had worked fine until the newest Software Update, where half the Homebrew I had downloaded were broken. In my stupidity and laziness, I did not update any applications and had downloaded incorrect 3DS files which had caused any 3DS games to crash in certain cutscenes or on start up, but after the software update all 3ds applications, even cartridge, crash upon start. Save data still exists for the games, and I still have full access to the home menu and homebrew, but I was wondering if there was a solution or guide that can help me both figure out if there is a way to solve this crashing and to update my homebrew. I modded mine as soon as the announcement came that the eShop was closing. Originally I used a 64GB Micro SD on an original 3DS XL, but I've since gone back to the original because the 64GB would occasionally give the illusion of the system being bricked, which was fixed by taking the SD card out. However, I would also take it out every time I wanted to add more content to the software, and I learned too late that taking an SD card (or Micro SD card with the adapter) out too many times can mess up the springs in the port. This ended up breaking my adapter. The port is now in working condition again, with the original SD card inserted

That 3ds is missing the boot.firm and boot.3dsx files. I fixed one recently like that.

I have a different problem… In december, I decided to jailbreak my 2ds. A few days later, while trying to play mario kart ds download play with someone, it suddenly crashed. I thought nothing of it (My cartridge slot has a history of randomly not reading cartridges), but whenever I opened a game from then on, an error would pop up saying error with the wifi card. I found a temporary solution (turn off wireless connection), before replacing the wifi card the day the eshop closed (so I could obviously make last minute purchases and stuff). The next morning, I try loading up a game, and it stays on that 3ds loading screen for a bit too long. I restart the system, and (with the NEW wifi card in), the error pops back up. Do you have any fix for this? I would love to play nsmb2 with my dad together, and I don’t want to have to spend 5 bucks every time I want a replacement for the wifi card…
