How to build your FIRST custom keyboard! (ON A BUDGET)

Thanks for showing me a lot of different keyboards. I'm looking for a new board, and I have a list of wants.
1. Needs to have shine-through keys (I game in a low-light room)
2. Volume knob
3.75% size to maximize mouse playground.
4 I prefer not to have a crazy amount of RGB or wireless/BT (I'm not 13 y/o or use on different devices)
5. Corded is preferred
I'm looking at Drunk Deer 75 (but the mag switches are wasted on me), G.Skill KM250 RGB 65% (but prefer a function key line just in case), KOORUI 82 keys or KUYIGAME 83 Keys Wireless 75% (but the wireless and BT features are wasted on me).
After watching many of your videos I'm confident about building something, but don't want to spend more money on something I really don't care that much about (no offense)

what switches would i need if my keys are too soft and tall, the key travel time is too long, im using gateron brown switches

I'm just now getting into this. So planning on starting with a cheapie with hot swappable switches and see how slowly replacing everything goes.

Been really wanting to build a custom keyboard as someone who's watched 2 yrs of this community's content.
I've got other hobbies where I can't delve entierly into this, but I want to make a full sized custom but I want it low profile mechanical. Fiance has membrane kayboard. I use logitech g815 and really like that. Custom RBG and clicky. Idk if I can make a keyboard in that range, where it is near like my current one but I want to lube it, want to make it sound nice and keep the rest.
