I’ve had it for 18 years no pain at all. But I bleed a lot. Last year I had a blood transfusion because I couldn’t stop bleeding. Don’t know what to do besides surgery. It can’t heal on its own.

I've lived with two deep tears for 44 years. After full hysterectomy from cancer I now get constant diarreah after everything I eat. Sometimes severe. It reopened and is extremely painful. So now I have to pour cold water down in front when I have diarreah to numb the pain.I survived two cancers only to live a life of pain now.Update: I tried the 24 hour amodium AD. For diarrhea.Gave me a break to heal. It worked. And I used Neosporin on outer area. Finally no pain🎊🎉🥳

In the case of anal fissures you ought not to have a painful bowel movement with extreme pain. So you should avoid any stool pressure and bleeding due to hard stool. In order to keep off this one take regularly 1 tablespoon (= 15 ml) castor oil early in the morning on an empty stomach; 1 to 2 hours after having swallowed this dosage you will have an easy bowel movement without any pain.

Here’s my personal method for fissure recovery:
I made sure to pass stool once every two days (because if you go everyday you’ll not give it time to heal.)
On my “non bowel day”: no fiber, did water fast, eat only fruits and liquid foods to break the fast, and take one pill of stool softener (example is Colace)
On my “bowel day”:
Eat fiber food and take 1/2 pills of stool softener. Eat Apple. Do cardio to aid digestion of food you eat.
Every day, I also applied a fissure healing cream (research and buy one.) Don’t directly touch the sore while applying else it will get irritated.) I hope this comment is able to help at least one person going through this terrible ordeal.

Don't waste your time if you have anal fissure do a surgery straight.
I lived 5 miserable years and I was thinking everytime that its gone for ever then after couple of months it used to come back.
After the surgery by 24 hours I felt I was so stupid for refusing to do the surgery all these years.

There is an intermediate step between topicals and surgery that wasn't mentioned here, and that is injectables like Botox in the sphincter to relax it non-surgically (and temporarily) and promote healing. There's also a treatment to remove the extra skin tag tissue from a chronic fissure so that it can heal up again since it will have raw edges that can meet up and heal. I've had all these treatments and they work really well.

I know someone that was diagnosed with an anal fissure after seeing a doctor. They treated it, and thought it would get better. But after several months when it did not get better more thorough investigation carcinoma cancer. So while you might want to try home remedies, it is always best to check with the doctor if things don't get better in a month

Simple physics -

Why you and 1 out of every 5 people who will actually disclose this to health care proffessionals.
About their discomfortable, irritating and self embarrassing anal fissure from what someone else might think of just how you got that condition.

Allow me to shed some light though... It just may not be your fualt but everyones problem. You see how deep of a study has really went into the engineering design and physics of a toilet.

It is not exactly something that passions the mind to want to do. And just the basics of the toilet solves the relief in the moment so why would anybody give much thought let alone deep thought to a toilet.

That of course unless you have been dealing with an anal fissure condition for over 17 years. And in these 17 years I have went back and forth to the internet for updates and gathered a compound knowledge of not only the information found but my own experiences through out the years.

With a passion for engineering this realization hit me one day after reading more medical health issues about the topic. It is this that I read " Anal fissures usually frature the skin at 6 and 12 oclock. Confirmed by my own personal experiences found accurate. Facing forward front and the the opposite rear back towards the spine of the anal opening. Exactly where the good lord split you.

NOW... go take a look at your toilet and toilet seat. Okay study it carefully and deeply. Is not it or most elongated in the same direction of 6 and 12 O'clock, am I not correct? This simple engineering may not only help you but also be the design that hurt you. Be it helpful or comfortable in the moment but just maybe the culprit that is hurting millions of people making our lives miserable in the long term. Ever wonder why there's so many frustrated and unhappy people.

These designs forces or exagerates the spreading of the cheeks to just the degree that it only can take one days bathroom trip dealing with a complicated movement weather explosive or passing an overly unbearable solid to end your happy days both mentally and physically. Like me, who else uses the toilet to its fullest capacity to stretch their cheeks has far as possible. Who in their right mind likes getting shit on their cheeks anyway right! kind of makes common sense mentally not having a bigger mess to clean after and at the same time save a little toilet paper.

And you will never be the wiser or think differently why you keep dealing with this issue perhaps for a life time. Your body if not extremely healthy in self healing and repair in one of the most delicate and dirty areas of the body. And just how many different types and designs of toilets do you use? Just how many times to often do you need to eliminate waste? Once a day at least you exaggerate and suspending this condition from ever properly healing?

So, Do yourself a favor if you have this condition and especially if you are older and may find it continually getting harder for your body to heal. STOP using your toilet for a month, 2, 3, 4 months if need be or just maybe how ever long you desire. Find a special spot to squat or other best more natural idea or method you can come up with that is comfortable and go for it! Come to think of my younger years visit to asia I remember using toilets level with the floor where there was no option but to squat... Hmmm... Perhaps to get by try carefully standing on your toilet rim if you can fear not breaking it and squat.

NOW: for an update - for me its been about 2 months and I proudly tell you and say it feels about 85 -95 % HEALED! MY great God my life is changing and has changed. I added a little remedy that helped quicken the healing process. I offer a recommendation of shaving because hairs can pull, be dirty for healing and exacerbate the healing process. And also be abrasive when using toilet paper.
Next try to just dab or pat your most sensitive brown eye. Then using water and your hand just gently wash rince the rest off. No worry by this point you know you and everyone else who has this problem has explored this problem has had their head so far up their ass figuring it out that whats on your hands at this point does not even matter... rest assured. The result is worth the resolve!! Okay once done with the cold douche, warm douche what ever way you prefer your going to want to hold on because this next recommendation is a real clencher. GET your self a spray bottle and you are going to fill it up with Apple Cider Vinegar... Thats right ACV and your going to commit to the sprits. Just be bold, go ahead, shy not! Just spray it, spray your brown eye shut. Try your best to relax and open it up good before it siezes well up past your liver!! OKAY... after this take a deap breather. The next and final recommendation you are going to love, but not to much. We are trying to cure and heal you not excite and overstimulate your erogenous temptations. If it happens it happens but probably not starting out in your primary condition or painful suffering you are in now. But as you heal you want to just take it slow and calm and remember you are there for a purpose to heal, not exploit your Lady or Man hole.
OKAY, that said I probably should have started all this off with all the preprep materials you will need to be successful, but if you are real serious I know you will figure it out. Alright so lastly you want to get yourself some "VIRGIN Coconut Oil" and Latex rubber gloves to aid with a slight penetration, not too deep. (you may wonder why gloves?, Right) I have found that even though I have really nice fingers for a guy that is, and well groomed nails that I still have skin cuticles or even sharp pointy edges on the side of my nails that I may not notice or be aware of. You want to alleviate any potential risks of further damage in this critical process and delicate tissues. DAB and apply to any two middle fingers, then apply and massage very gently. In time even if you are an extreme exit only guy like me you will fine your shooting around the rim as if you were awaiting at the Pearly Gates of sensation heaven just enjoying the outter court yard. Just try best not to let your fingers run arround so pleasured that they start tearing up delicate landscape like tremoring tectonic plates shifting the world. Trust me it will happen and hopefully your fingers will cramp up long before you do any real damage!
Alright that is it. We should start seeing a happier world in a short couple of months. Stay consistant, stay disciplined and strong.

Now if you also know someone dealing with this issue. Remember 1 in 5 who actually confess which is a pretty high number in itself already. Pass this on... Let them know and lets all live healthier happy lives.

Signed the Lord has blessed this message!!

Long-term diarrhea can lead to anal fissures and/or ulcers, and since this develops over time, a person often gets used to the condition until the fissure arrives and causes pain. Before surgical intervention, if chronic diarrhea is present, ask your doctor about trying cholestyramine to address Bile Acid Malabsorption, which can be the cause of a fissure. If bile acid is the cause of your problem, you will know if using cholestyramine powder helps you or not in just a few weeks, and for those who do have chronic diarrhea, this can become a very good solution and alternative to surgery. It is similar to the way they treat patients who have had their gall bladder removed, and thus have excess bile. Ask your physician! - j q t -

As a chronic sufferer of anal fissures I was prescribed baclofen 10mg, it's a muscle relaxer and helps stop the spasm's. I also take a Mersynofen tablet(Ibuprofen 200mg/Paracetamol 500mg) with the baclofen, as required. I also use topical creams and heat pads to sit on, It's all about increasing blood flow to help the healing process, I've found doing these things the most helpful. Good luck hope it helps.

I sent this to a poster, and decided to resend to anyone who might need relief. I've been dealing with this off and on for years. I noticed it goes away when I drink a LOT of water and change my diet. I love fried food and junk food, so this was hard for me, but it was worth it. Like someone else said, I only eat one full meal once a day now, and that meal contains a lot of fiber (beans, veggies). I also 2 drink smoothies: one with spinach and fruit, and the other with blueberries; each smoothie contains avocado, flax or chia seeds. I also eat my baked goods with oat flour instead of regular flour, and I use nut butters or applesauce instead of butter. (to make the oat flour, just grind oatmeal in a blender or food processor until it looks like flour). Anything that doesn't cause constipation. I noticed when I started eating less fiber and went back to eating unhealthy food for more than 3-4 days, it started again. I add a stool softener for those first few days after a "flare up", then. I go back to the high fiber diet. I only allow myself one day every few weeks to "treat myself". I don't like denying myself simple things like this, but it's worth it. I had to learn a totally different way to cook...to live. I pray this helps someone. You are not alone.

I went on hard diet, so my stool got hard and dry so anal fissure happened with a lot of pain. I decided to wait for two weeks and apply warm water and stool softener but nothing helped. So I went to my doctor and he said you should use a cream called Anotrit. It is super expensive around 85$ but its worth it. Within a week the pain gone and the fissure was healed.

I noticed bleeding in my stool just over 2 months ago. I was in a lot of pain. I went to the colorectal surgeon and I was diagnosed with anal fissure. I was prescribed with diltiazem and thought the ointment was not working. I started applying this with aloe vera gel and I noticed a huge difference. The pain subsided significantly and my bleeding stopped. You need to make sure you're eating high fibre food, taking stool softeners and drinking atleast 2L of water . The main thing is the stool is soft to pass through and you're applying ointment before and after you pass motion. I cannot recommend aloe vera gel enough, it literally saved me!

Great and informative video! I've been with this disease for 5 months and it goes out and back several times due to passive anal intercourse that I choose to have (and because of it, it gets all back again). But when I'm in an accute stage, it bleeds and inflicts some pain for several hours. In this moment, I pass much ointment on and in the anus in order to facilitate the bowel movement and to not tear even more the rift. I insert the index finger to induce the muscle relaxation and facilitate the bowel movement. I do this for a few days until getting the bleeding gone. I know that if I'd obey the treatment and not make anal sex, it would deftly heal, but it's a matter of time and self-education. Guys, try this that I said. Also try to relax the anus tension during the day and each bowel movements.
