Hi, i have a car battery, the procediment it's same or have more components? Other people said to me that also have a bms... can you help me pls?

Question for anyone who knows to answer. I'm working on converting my car for road trip living and very possibly long term (housing prices man 😭). It will be just me, the only things I'd need to power are my cell phone, recharging batteries for the car fridge I'm getting(battery powered with 2 batteries to switch out), and in colder times my tiny heater and recharging a battery for a heated blanket. I don't see myself using it for much more, on occasion my little laptop possibly. Should I get a 100w panel or 200w? What do you guys recommend?

Question: I am wanting to set up 4-8 Batteries in parallel for my RV to hopefully avoid having to use propane as little as possible. Does it matter if I have the charge controller going in from one end of the parallel and the inverter coming off the other? To clarify, something like this: Solar Panels > Charge Controller > Batter 1 > Battery 2, to 3, etc, etc > Battery 8 > Inverter

A tip someone gave me long ago, if you have a soldering iron and you tin the bare ends of the wire that are going into the charge controller you can get a better connection that will cause less wire wear over time.

You should use a resistor when charging the capacitor, there will not be a spark when connecting to the battery if you did it right.

I live in an rv it came with solar set up to charge the battery but it didn't come set up with an inverter. I'm wondering if it would even be possible to do.

When we lose power I can turn on my lights but none of my outlets or ac/heat works.

Down here in texas power is needed to keep warm/cool.

I set up my system (renogy charge controller, inverter is a different brand) exactly as you described. When I have my solar panels out (portable) I am not able to use the inverter at the same time (overheats immediately). Shouldn't there be something between the battery and inverter to seperate solar power coming in and electricity going out of the battery to the inverter?

Question for you: How do I know if my components are incompatible with each other? Let’s say I purchased a 2000w inverter. How do I know which controller can handle the 2000w? Is 40A controller equaled 2000w?

I can see having a 2000w inverter probably required maximum of 2000w solar panels. I wasn’t sure going about choosing the proper controller for the inverter.

Fantastic info there and it will come in handy thank you. Im just curious though why you are doing the neg wire 1st to the batt before the pos? As usually you would do the opposite when putting anything connected to the batt.

I had a question that I hope that you could answer for me. If you wanted to add an extra battery or two can you use different types? For instance, if I was running a 12-volt deep cycle lead acid battery could I just add say a lithium ion do my battery Bank?

Question…if I built a faraday cage, around my setup (minus the solar) would the energy still flow properly and would an emp (sun or otherwise) throw too much energy into my solar panels, making the faraday cage pointless?

Hi, very instructive video. Once I have setup the cc with the battery, can I connect the inverter and cc to the battery simultaneously and then the solar panel, to avoid disconnecting and starting over? Thanks.
