BBC studios should file accounts with companies house which is public access. You should be able to see where their income is coming from and do the maths.

Just a little side note.
Before I retired a couple of months ago the company I worked for set a Polish lad on.
As he was also a very competent electrician he told me about how he had installed a satellite dish so that he could watch television from his home country. This also included a subscription service that he had had to set up with a family member living in Poland.
He said he had little interest in UK TV as he preferred to watch what he was used to.
He was astonished when I said that he would probably need to buy a UK TV Licence to watch his Polish programmes.
I did direct him here to make up his own mind, and also told him to close the door on the licensing goons!

I have no qualms paying for a TV licence, I love radio without adverts, kids use the website for educational needs and there are good quality programs on the channels, I believe they spend less by a big margin than Netflix yet have more programming per day.
If you don't like it don't pay but it's cheap for what you get.
Would you like it if Netflix had adverts like Amazon now have as similar cost per month for Netflix and BBC.

License fee should be reduced to £120 (10/month) and funding for any gap created via advertising, and within 5 years the yearly fee removed.

I dont have a tv licence so I dont care what the bbc charge. But i do care about stopping the bbc ripping of the general public. The license fee is keeping the bbc boys in a job and their pensions topped up.

It'll probably be added to the council tax or our WIFI or utility bills soon. So make the most of your freedom of choice while you still that freedom to choose.

Anyone traced back how the Dr Who rights swapped from BBC to Studios? Same with the other shows unique to the BBC originally. Did the BBC receive money for the transfer?

Lifeline ?Since I stopped watching TV in any form ,I've actually got a life .

Not needed "this valuable lifeline" for many years now and do not seem to think that I will get withdrawal symptoms any year soon and wish to purchase a licence.

Quite shocking how they use threats and intimidation very disturbing , the last part of Declaring no TV Licence is intimidation Claim No Licence Needed. If you, or anyone you live with, are still not watching or streaming any live TV, or watching BBC iPlayer, claim No Licence Needed.
