Why take the rim and tire off lol
Ответитьi've done'em this way for 40 years and the tire has always gone to the specified mileage. one thing i didn't do is drive right after putting the tired back on. excellent idea
ОтветитьThanks, Must have been a hot day.
ОтветитьHey uncle Scotty. How long can you drive with the plug ??
ОтветитьPlugging a flat tire. Step one: Buy a quality repair kit.
ОтветитьClean driving (staying on the main lanes most used) and taking corners wider helps prevent these small headaches.
ОтветитьI always come back to this video every year or so
Ответить❤
ОтветитьLooks good in theory but I wasn't able to push the plug into the tire. Going to put on the spare and find someone to do it for me 🙂
ОтветитьYou know you can lit the stick on fire once it in the tire you don't have to cut them off we do it all the time at work.
ОтветитьI love this scotty
Ответить"Ready for the next nail" 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI assume that this will not work on bicycle since it has tubes?
ОтветитьGreat video on tire repair - done just like a pro.
ОтветитьI’m at a Toyota dealership right getting a routine maintenance & they found a 2 nail in my tires. Each nail in a different tire . They said they can patch one but not the other. They said it’s because it’s on the side? What do you think Scotty? Said I need the tire replaced :/
Ответитьbruh this video was uploaded when i was 2 days old time goes fast
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you so much. I just fixed the tire on the Rogue. It wasn’t leaking when I remounted the tire. We will see in the morning. Thanks again.
Ответитьhow long does this type of repair last?
Ответитьthanks man + happy new year

Straight to the point n simple thank u for the tip too, that part is tricky!!
ОтветитьHow long does it last?
Ответитьalso have an electric fan in your trunk!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU... You Nailed IT!!! 👋 from NJ
ОтветитьYour video helped me out a lot thanks 😊
ОтветитьSimple but very helpful. Just had to do this today for the first time.
ОтветитьReason why I like to use plugs is because most of the time you can plug the tire on the car without having to take tge tire off. Quick fix and on your way.
ОтветитьWow, homie was young once.
Ответить12 years after this video, and you are still helping people out. Thank you, Scotty!
ОтветитьScotty Kilmer is my hero
ОтветитьReem it all the way thru, nnnneeghhhhh!
ОтветитьThanks Scotty and airborne!!!
Ответитьthis might be an older video, but it is by far the best of the ones i've watched on this subject. quick and to the point. +subscribed.
ОтветитьIf done properly like this, how long is it good for? As in the plugs efficiency
ОтветитьShould you take it to a tire shop even though you fixed it?
Ответитьi just tried this today and I don't know why but it was impossible to insert the plug into the hole, I was putting my whole weight on the damn thing and it still wouldn't go in, how does it look so easy in the video?
The only thing I notice is the plugs in this video seem thinner
Thank you Scotty!
ОтветитьScotty, you have the best videos with great instructions. Thank you!
ОтветитьHow long does the patch last? I have a new performance tire that just got a flushed nail the other day.
ОтветитьRakkasans⛩
ОтветитьWhat happens if I do a burnout on a plugged tire
ОтветитьScotty a badass Screening Eagle
Ответить"then get a little liquid soap"
proceeds to put 1/2 cup of dishsoap in
why do you say go for a drive a 'vulcanize' it? is that a necessity? i repaired a tire yesterday morning but havent taken it for a drive
Ответитьwhat about torqueing the lug nuts? What about how far deep you need to insert the plug? What about leaving the tire on the car if you know where the hole is?
ОтветитьScotty, u are just too good at what u do. Great video. Thank u.
ОтветитьJust did my first tyre on my own car yesterday, worked like a charm, your videos are brilliant Scotty.
ОтветитьI'm thankful. One of my parents said that he's Airborne too.
Ответить😊 thank you!! Worked perfectly
