Let's be real. If the only way you were able to use the character properly was by spamming every single magnet you could, you know exactly why it's getting its cooldown nerfed. The stun duration should have a rework, but the cooldown is completely deserved, Period.

Why is it that all my mains getting a nerfed this balance update, I feel attacked (jokes), seriously though my main used to be priestess back in the day and I decided to broaden my play style a bit and have since branched out to Prisoner, Explorer and especially Prospector (he’s been my favourite and people say he’s hard to learn but surprisingly not to me), I even bought both S tier costumes for Prisoner and Prospector from the BSD collab we just got, this definitely is annoying

Honestly ever since I heard the nerf news I've been depressed and don't even want to open IDV. I understand the cool down, at times even I was surprised at how fast his magnet was. But reducing the stun by 50% just destroys him. I hear it's when you're by a teammate...what if you're the one kiting and you're in a position that puts you by a teammate? That seems quite unfair to the player. People are also saying "he's a kiter not an assist or rescue." Based on previous characters (eg. Patient, Forward, etc.) they don't have a problem changing who a character is for. If I remember correctly William was a rescue but is now considered an assist and Patient was a kiter but is now a Rescue. Why not change Norton's (a pretty balanced character) like they did the others?

"Well he's hard to counter." He really isn't. You can easily break his magnets or avoid balloon rescues by letting go of a survivor. And you don't have to go through the entire animation of letting go of a survivor to avoid a stun rescue. Just by spamming the button it will register before any animation takes place.

Not to mention having such a HUGE and yes it is a huge nerf right after they released a pricey S-tier I find is somewhat inconsiderate. People bought his crossover skin because they wanted to see him in it. But having quite a game changing nerf deters people from playing him. (This applies to all characters including hunters that receive a horrid unjustified nerf.)

However, I also heard that Netease will NOT immediately apply these nerfs until they get more data from test servers. Hopefully they see just how bad they did Pros and decide to AT LEAST lessen the blow of the 50%. Like I said I wouldn't mind the increase in cool down for his magnets. As both a hunter and survivor player I've seen how fast he can get a magnet. But I really do hope they put more care and time into actually seeing what their nerfs will do to players ON BOTH sides of being survivor and hunter.

I only got to practice using Norton when I got his Chuuya skin 😀. I was getting used to the controls and how he works too I don't exactly main him but I play him a lot in duos I was gonna start using him in quick matches I might wanna do that now that I have the time before his nerf 😭😭

I feel as if they nerfed him too harshly I get spamming the magnets is annoying but it's a way to support teammates when using him😭

now his stun is like luca zap and with 6 sec cooldown in between wtf netease

The stun time when near survivor MUST BE REDUCED from 50% to 25% reduction

Well, the reason for the nerf is well given, since Prospector is a container, not a support. That being the case and also the reason why they nerfed Biyin.

I think prospector deserve this nerf, since it will make ways for other forgetten harassers like wilding, clown and theif to shine on the upcoming update... and we might also see, the Nubspector finally picking other harassers besides prospector

I think he deserve this nerf.
I mean he's released the same time as enchantress but only ench got many nerf but he got nothing.

All harasser like forward, ench, batter, cowboy, they got skill cooldown but somehow pros is the only one that can spam skill.
(imagine ench with 5 stack and able to spam curses☠️☠️)

I think every character must have skill cooldown for their item.

I agree tho as hunter main, prospector magnet in mid/late game just annoying 😔 getting stunt for like 5-6 sec. then chase the survivor again for 10-20 sec... 😔
