ОтветитьWill this serving technique prevents me of shoulder pain? I am always told that the elbow must point forward before the ball is hit to avoid shoulder pain in the future. In the video, the elbow is not pointing forward either.
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьThis video is amazing. I now know how to correct my mistakes and do better serves! Thank you
ОтветитьWell, i did 80% wrong, now i can serve over big fields, thank you so much.
Ответитьgreat video.. and even greater coach.
Ответитьyou have to respect the volley ball because it is a sport. so dress jersey or sport shirt as in soccer not with those clothes
ОтветитьExcellent stuff guys. Like so many here, doing a lot wrong. Props from RVA :)
ОтветитьThe baby hand 😂
ОтветитьI trained float serve myself - and exactly with the same targets: elbow is high and behind the head before serve, short and stiff contact with a ball, trajectory low above the net, targeting far line. And from 0 level (I had some weak unstable and unpredictable overhead serve before) I really came to a serious mid-level players serve in 2 months. Now I can precisely place a ball between players near the line - very effective. Or stronger float serve to a corner - diagonal or along side line. After all I started to learn shortened serve. And it all works just amazing together - with a lot of aces even against players of higher levels (sort of few years of intense experience in beach volley).
Actually my strong serve is now a game changer and all the efforts return huge value. You just need to spend 20 dedicated hours on it, most of them even without court and net - focusing on strike, hand contact, no ball rotation. Say, against wall with marked net height and measured distance for it. Then if you're stable with it - it's very easy to adopt on court. I'm playing beach volley for 3 months and my serve is just killing against people with less then 3-years of solid experience.
Im here to learn so I can teach my 12 year old daughter how to serve volleyball for middle school. This is the best video on serving I have seen by far. Thank you so much for the great content. She wants to make the varsity team and I think she will be moved up if she can improve her serving to become more consistent. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThe deadpool cut 😂😂
ОтветитьI can’t even get it over the net lmao 😭😭😭
Ответитьbros nipples are so hairy i can't concentrate
ОтветитьI started playing indoor volleyball regularly again after a really long break (almost 10 years). Getting back to basics is really helping out.
Back in the tournament days such videos would have really helped me achieve many things.
can you do a video of how to do a proper faint, cause my position is in the middle and everytime i'd try to faint the ball my fingers would just bend and break
ОтветитьI’ve only played beach volleyball (and volleyball) for a bit, but it’s amazing how effective placed, short float serves work against other teams. Not sure how well it works against more experienced players, but I love using the short serves and occasionally mixing more powerful ones into the mix (like the concept you mentioned). Awesome vid, thanks for the tips!
Ответитьhello from brazil. any tip where to buy that original ball?
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьKevin needs to work on drawing arms back, he appears to be a bit of a shot pusher.
Ответить@ better at beach volleyball For a flatter serve do you think about letting the ball drop lower before you contact?
ОтветитьWhen I serve I’ve started a habit of dropping my elbow any tips?
ОтветитьAnyone’s shoulder hurt when serving what am I doing wrong?
Ответитьim in my school's middle school volleyball club, and every time someone does a good overhand serve, you probably will get a point. Also Im watching this video to practice for tourdament in january and this helped me a lot. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьWish I had a volleyball I want to practice for school
ОтветитьThis is very interesting! Thank you very much for all your videos and explanations which are always very clear and easy to understand. I was wandering about power serve vs float serve. I'm an ex indoor player and when I want to power serve I do the complete opposite of what you describe here and was wandering if that is a mistake I've been doing : I serve from 2-3 meters behind the line with full downward spin and "cupped" hand... I must say that it often woks pretty well (especially if I regularly switch with float serve), but not sure if I should anyway try to change it and simply to get a more powerful float serve.
ОтветитьI watched another YT say to connect all 5 fingers while serving. I didn’t feel like that gave me that much power. Why im here. lol
ОтветитьWhat about one-handed sets can you have a double hit on a one-handed set
ОтветитьLove the advice
ОтветитьGreat tips!
ОтветитьShow.
ОтветитьI needed this videos so bad many years ago when I could actually had a chance to play
Anyways it's very useful, you explain it so clear and makes it look so simple 😎
I always wondered why the center of my hands 🙌🏼 would be sore after some good games of volleyball 🏐
ОтветитьI love your videos. This one had some great points! Question, should your shoulders be square to the net or should they be at some other angle to the net?
ОтветитьGreat stuff! Thank you for these videos!!
ОтветитьThis video is so helpful, thank you !!
ОтветитьThe hand should be like a bear paw!
ОтветитьI feel like he could have more wind up for more Power
ОтветитьThis channel is SO HELPFUL for a new player like myself
ОтветитьGreat video! I love seeing somebody being coached rather than just watching somebody demonstrate a near perfect serve.
ОтветитьThank you for the video. I had a biceps inflammation and have tried different float serving techniques such as the one presented in this video. However, float serving and the "stopping" often causes me shoulder pain. Any hints on how to properly execute float serves without stressing the shoulder to much?
ОтветитьWhen I float serve I'm always aiming for the top tape. It's a lot easier than visualizing the antenna (or the 3-foot box in this video) and trying to serve between the top of that and the net.
ОтветитьGreat float serve video!
Any plans for a jump serve progression video?
WOW! VIDEO #10 OF COMMENTING UNTIL I MAKE IT TO HERMOSA🤠🤠🤠!!!! Is there any way you can show in depth videos of serving different types of jump serves? Like the footwork, the toss, and the approach to it all?
ОтветитьHi from Villa Gesell, Argentina guys thans 4 the tips. gonna use it in my next games
Its amazing how many balls there are and is also amazing how many videos you are making and how good are the contents. Keep going that way (my english is a little poor)
Great video! Could you please do a video on bump setting? Some of us play in leagues that discourage hand setting... Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat content I have a question about putting top spin on the ball to drop hard on my serves I don't really know if I'm doing it right I trow the ball with a lot of spin and then when I contact it follow with a lot of waist I don't have a problem with my float serve I want to mix it up
Ответитьthanks for the firm hand tip! one question for you, should we start with weight on left foot, then step through with right foot? or start with weight on right foot and then transfer weight to left foot?
Ответить
