3.7 Abyss 12 is TERRIBLE! Tips, Tricks & Speedrun! Genshin Impact

I just can't be asked with aybss anymore they can't do game design and I'm tempted to just stop playing genshin in general what's the point in having artifacts if I'm just gonna have to break sheilds lol

If he has to think this much to 36 star the abyss, what Hoyoverse does expect from me, with crappy artifacts, awful rotations and terrible builds? Why Hoyoverse? WHY!?

At this point floor 12 is for whale players only, as a f2p I've been 36 starring abyss up until now😭

cant even get past the beginning of floor twelve with a full support kazuha, c2 hu tao with thoma, yelan, mona, crowned ganyu, bennett, meta characters... its just too hard.

idk how people able to to this, it feels like literal trash playing this abyss..

I used wanderer first half because I usually run him with Bennett+Zhongli anyways, which gives me enough sustain to survive the consecrated beasts. Not to mention, he can stay relatively far away from them, making them slightly easier to dodge. But he was very heavily invested because he’s C2R1. Still had to dust off the black tassel for Zhongli though, his shield was just getting obliterated if I didn’t.

The second half I used a very weird burgeon team, with fav Xinqiu and fav Xianling with as much ER as I could put on Xianling since I was running Bennet on the other side. I used Kokomi as the healer, and Nahida C6R1. The problem I had with Thoma was that his pyro was just not enough alone for me to be comfortable enough to break all those shields, so I brought out Xianling. So it turned into a weird Kokomi national team with Nahida on the side.

I have too much skill issue, so I already use heavily invested characters in order to brute force every abyss, but this one was tough enough for me to actually need to strategize a solution.

This abyss was basically a Nahida check

Fun fact: I entered the Kazuha art competition by hoyoverse, despite I still don't have Kazuha on my team. Been trying to get him since last year.

People told me he's better than sucrose is, even though I have sucrose at level 20, C3. If I don't get Kzuha, I'm using sucrose instead because I'm not waiting 11 or 12 real months to try and get Kazuha again.

this abyss kazuha and nahida are a must have, they make it SO MUCH easier

There's such a fine line between 'hard enough that people say it was a challenge' and 'pissing people off to the point that they start making excuses and just quit trying'. I know there were certain content creators that were talking about how the game was too easy and there was no where to test their characters to their max potential. Some of them have even talked about quitting the game because of how disappointed they were that it would always just be easy mini games. Well, I hope those people are spending the time re-running multiple times to 36 star and now talking about how much they love the challenge (I doubt that they are..)

So basically, just get kazuha

In 12-3-1 what made my life much easier was:
1. bring a team with considerable collateral dmg (any national variety, I think Nilou bloom too, taser, Alhaitham teams, etc).
2. It's not just a matter of sticking close to the hydro croco, but of IGNORING the dendro beast completely. From what I could tell, the hydro croco loves to run away from you, while the dendro panther thingy likes to pounce on you. So when they spawn and throughout the fight, position yourself in a way that the hydro croco is in front of you and between you and the dendro panther. Then unload everything you have on the hydro croco. While trying to pounce on you, the dendro panther will actually end up pushing you and the hydro croco around together, and your collateral damage will also kill the dendro beast while you're focusing on the hydro one.
That said, you'll need to try dodging some of their worst hits too, but as long as you have a healer that can sustain you to face tank one hit or another, you'll do fine. The dendro beast relentlessly attacking you will also end up pushing you out of the proper position with the hydro croco between you and it, so you will have to reposition a few times, just make sure you do it to keep the hydro croco close to you at all times. For some reason, the constant barrage of attacks of the dendro beast seemed to have somewhat staggered the hydro one too, it was simply weird. Whenever I focused both or the dendro one, the hydro one would stay a mile away sniping me with its hydro attacks. In melee range, the croco didn't do nearly as much as it could do from a farther range. That said, the croco does have a nasty tail swipe and a cleave bite, so try to do it like the typical dragon boss fight from WoW: stay clear of the head to not get blasted with fire (water in this case) and cleaves and stay clear of the tail to not get flicked by it; stick to its sides, where it doesn't attack a lot.

I challenge a Hoyo dev to actually playtest this bullshit (impossible)

What a garbage video. Surely you can clear it with C6 kazuha and nahida. They are both literally the cores of these dogshit teams. You could just let these two clear it without other characters. That video will help casual players for 100 percent!!

I hated this abyss. Thunder Manifestation is probably my least favorite abyss boss because I usually run melee DPS. I hate the consecrated beasts. It feels like their hitboxes are smaller than their models, especially when they're jumping and rolling around like idiots - there were a few times that I couldn't hit them with melee DPS despite trying to face-tank them because they were in the middle of their attacks.

I also hate that I restarted as many times as I did just to get full stars...

I have been getting 36 star in the abyss first try for many months, this abyss broke my record, but yeah burgeon Hu Tao in the second half did the job

What noobs can just do is make a team with 4 healers 💀😭

This is the first Abyss I did not 36 star ever since my first 36 star....
Scratch that, I spent 2 hours tryharding and finally beating this awful Abyss....

Yeah I can understand others saying this abyss cycle is hard because of the shields but for me this was the most easiest abyss that I've did, my only nightmare enemies in abyss is the wenut and the serpent. I didn't struggle a single floor in this honestly. Ayato hyperbloom on first half and Hutao's funeral service on 2nd.

yeah I'm just skipping floor 12 bullshit from now on. Not worth getting a stroke irl for 150 primos

Raiden-Yae-Baizhu-Kazuha/Nahida-Xingqiu-Bennet-Xiangling

As a low spender 3.0 series Abyss is fun. For 3.7 it got me tried a lot of different combinations of groups and I’m happy it finally worked out. Can’t argue I used five C0 5 star characters but I think that’s okay for me. I waited some time to pull Kazuha before I tried abyss though.

Ngl this abyss make me angry and use swear words so often and I’m f2p with bad luck artifact.

Personally, abyss is the main reason to dive into meta or min max teams/items. Stressful but not something unwelcome

I just got kazuha, this spiral is too easy now. I 36* spiral abyss without kazuha for almost 2 years. Kazuha is truly the goat

You need a shielder or Kokomi or Nahida on chamber 1 first half, without her shredding the lectors its impossible to do anything without getting stunned, tried it with Dendro MC and Tighnari and I got my ass cheeks clapped. I now regret quitting the game when Nahida came out :/

36 Star Clear

Team 1: Dori, Nahida, Sucrose, Beidou
Team 2: Klee, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett

Going for C6 Dori has been one of my best investments it seems with it making her both a good main DPS and a potent healer at the same time. She even batteries herself and the team.

Going to reward scam loli with Redhorn Stonethresher when it come back again on weapon banner.

The funny thing about this abys was hoyo promoting yoimiya lol. SHE ABSOLUTELY CAN'T DO ANYTHING EXCEPT CHAMBER 2 LUL 😂

I used freeze for team 1 and nahida national for team 2. It's hard because of the limitations of comp you can play but once you select the right unit it'll be a breeze.

Mihoyo either give player ultra long Invul enemy or Nimble tank one shot capable enemy with ton ammount of HP, no in between

Finally got 36 stars tonight because of your Burgeon team template. I had to use different teams for my first half though but overall, solid stuff.
Still had to re-attempt the last chamber many times though because of stupid RNG.

Team that I used because it might help someone out there:
For first and second chambers, I used
Raiden/Yae/Yaoyao/Kazuha for first half.
Thoma/Bennet/Nahida/Xinqiu for the second half.

For the last chamber I used mono-geo Itto (Itto/Zhongli/Gorou/Albedo) because my Raiden wasn't cutting it (or maybe skill issue) and my burgeon team needed at least a minute and 10 seconds to make it.
