DO NOT BUY IT! It's a nightmare! Why it's a nightmare? The way they designed their brakes, spongy brakes when you need them the most, not only spongy but pedal goes right to the floor with no stoping power, it only happens at slow speeds, 3 weeks into it...we almost got into 3 rear ends. Your foot is so used to pushing the brake pedal halfway to achieve stopping, but it goes right to floor, it's scary. There is hundreds of online forums describing this problem and when inquired with Audi, they say that's how the brakes are designed with e-trons. It's called re-gen braking.
ОтветитьDoes buying the Q4 make more sense than the Lexus NX350h?
ОтветитьWhy does 🇨🇦/ 🇺🇸 options differ?
ОтветитьIdea please! While you guys are saying about specs you may show real all numbers on screen for people who less hearing ( like me) to see and think about it better and accurately. Thks
ОтветитьAudi girl here coming from gas and I just got the Q4 Sportback e-tron 50 premium plus. Everything you said about this car is true! I thought I was going to hate the steering wheel, but it is very ergonomic and I was wrong about it. I am 5'2"😄 it is very comfortable for a petite driver
ОтветитьLooks like a fine vehicle. However, the dashboard is...I lack the words! I can understand the designers being high or drunk or both. Or just playing a practical joke. What I can't understand is that it made it through to production. Looks like a Transformer toy broken to pieces and then badly glued back together.
Ответитьtesla all day long.. have one with zero issues... and the charging network isn't even close.
ОтветитьRange is way too low.
ОтветитьReal buttons! Woot woot!
ОтветитьThe way the car lifts up when you accelerate is just something fantastic. Absolute beast. Test driving the Etron 45 this week!
ОтветитьButtons are convenient.
ОтветитьVery nice review. Very enjoyable. Like talking with a friend about cars.
ОтветитьI have a 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron Prestige model in the US. I really love the car. On a full charge with good driving habits the range can go up to 261 miles. However for the price tag they could have put more battery cells to accommodate a rage of 320+ miles (around 350 would have been ideal). I do agree with Andrea, it has too much of plastic within the car, especially in the cockpit. The leg room in the back seats and the trunk space could have been improved. Overall the driving feels smooth and the matrix LED headlights are just awesome.
ОтветитьMy 2011 Hyundai sonata had rear heated seats and 12 years later they still aren’t standard
ОтветитьAudi Vancouver seems to have some nice incoming units (arriving in next two weeks) available…… not sure if they are a result of cancelled orders or whether they will be offered to reservation holders - so check it out
ОтветитьI spy a Nissan Z
ОтветитьI like Scotty Kilmers view on ev’s
Ответить@Motormouth do you still think this (Audi Q4 e-tron) is a better value in 2023 versus a Tesla Model Y with a huge price cut (now costing under $70K in Canada) ??
ОтветитьAudi Canada seems to have upped the price of tech and premium packages from $10,800 combined to $14,500 combined. That invalidates some of the great advice in this video!
It applies to me as I am dealer waitlist since last October and not yet an factory allocation
That abudabi joke made me laugh lol
ОтветитьRented one of these for my upcoming trip to Norway (it was cheaper to rent than a regular SUV!?) And now I'm even more stoked!
ОтветитьIt is an electronic version of Q3, if you have an Audi, it is just another Audi
ОтветитьThis is on our "watch list" for what we might replace our M3 with down the road. We like the Tesla very much, but as other manufactures develop their EV fleet, it would be foolish not to consider other vehicles. For now, the Tesla charging infrastructure is a deal breaker. It is robust and just works, unlike all the others. Nothing more unnerving than to be on a road trip down to 10% charge rolling into an EA charging staton to find them not working or not connecting to your car or only charging at 30kWh, etc. In 4 or 5 years, that may very well change. Will any manufacturer decide to take Tesla up on integrating the NACS into their vehicles? That could be a game changer. We do have an Audi PHEV, and they have a long way to go with the Audi app compared to Tesla. Its clunky and pretty featureless. For example, no way to set the charge limit when charging, only amount of time of the charge, kinda weird. I can't set it to charge up to 80%, but I can set it to charge for 1 hour. Maybe the app has this feature for their BEV's but not for the PHEV. Hopefully over time they will make improvements, but for now, they are still playing catch up.
ОтветитьThe fact that it charges so slow is insane.
ОтветитьAfter Tesla I am not getting another car with shiny plastic..... Can they at least make it not shiny?
ОтветитьLove the red boots.
ОтветитьI would buy this in the Prestige trim, but it's almost impossible to find, and the few dealers who have it are marking it up over MSRP. (And I'm an Audi owner and would be coming from a 2019 S5 Cabriolet in the Prestige trim).
ОтветитьIt wouldn't hurt to give the floor mats a little shake.😁
ОтветитьWould love a head to head against the XC40
ОтветитьGreat video! The car that has turned the motoring world on it's head is the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
ОтветитьAfter owning an Audi, I would never go through that again. It’s good until 50k with expensive BS maintenance cost, then the car just becomes a money pit. My friend just paid $4k for brakes for his RS4. That’s $1k per wheel🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿
ОтветитьGreetings from oakville Ontario where do you live without jealous neighbors every time you both get a different vehicle to test and it sits in your driveway 🤔 ??
ОтветитьNice car, would consider over the Q5. Here's the problem, I live in Ottawa and take frequent trips to Montreal. There are not enough charging stations as of now. Until there are more I will have to look at a hybrid.
ОтветитьI stopped watching after hearing no one-pedal driving. That’s a deal breaker for me. Why not have the option? It’s one if the best features of the electric car. Stupid decision.
ОтветитьThis one is overpriced.
Ответить" the rebate is paid by the tax payers, not the government"! This guy is such a sore loser! Apart from obnoxiously nagging ALL THE TIME, he is so ignorant! ALL government subsidies come from tax payers, including your freaking FOSSIL FUEL subsidy! so get over it or move to Arkansas or Alabama! you should be making videos about F150s and RAMs of the world, then you will be talking to your kinda people
Ответить😂 this guys dad joke
Ответитьsurprised that Zack did not pick on rear drum!! brakes 🤣🤣
ОтветитьWow, really horrible specs for the money. Slow, low range, slow charging and as we all know lousy infotainment and driver assist system. Doesn’t make any sense why someone would by this for more money than a model y which has much better features performance and especially resale value resulting in a much better value.
ОтветитьThis looks a lot like my Q3. I really like how the touch screen favors the driver.
Ответитьdoes the red shoes come with the vehicle?
ОтветитьThe electric GV70 looks better than this
ОтветитьI road tested this a few days ago during Audi Canada's road show in Calgary. WOW, did I love the smooth ride and acceleration. And I am one of those doubters who say I will probably never buy an EV. I was impressed by how much this felt like a traditional SUV/car. I just wish they could have used the type of materials that they used in the Q2 (not available in Canada). That crossover used a lot of hard plastic but at least it was uniquely patterned solid plastic instead of the glossy stuff that will scratch up and get dirty easily.
ОтветитьGreat review guys! Keep up the terrific job on your automotive reviews
ОтветитьThis is not a dig on Audi per se but manufacturers in general that skimp a bit on the goodies on the intro models which are nonetheless pricey. C'mon -- you need to add an options package to get a power passenger seat and charging ports?!?!
ОтветитьSweet ride. Great review.
Ответитьperformance and mileage are a joke at this price
ОтветитьReally appreciate the emphasis on cheap interior parts. If carmakers aren’t held accountable they’ll keep making cost cuts on “premium” cars!
ОтветитьNow the question is: how long is the wait in greater vancouver area? The waitlist kills most of the EV now
Ответить
