My pc is a day old and I shorted the motherboard it turned on but now it's not shorting anymore

Where can I find someone around me that does work on pcs like you guys I recently upgraded my pc it used to be working fine no over heating or nothing but now all of a sudden it crashes complete black screen and now it just won’t turn on I made sure everything was plugged up right but no idea could someone help

Bro i need help ! My pc works , sometimes. In the morning i can turn it on. But if a shutdown it it wont turn on. When i press the power button it makes the click sound but wont turn on. For it to turn on again i have to wait about 5 hours. If i try to turn it on before it , it will reset ill have to wait again ! My ups works, but when power goes out the pc turn of immediately. Im ssure the ups works. If i go somewhere i have to keep it on. Sometimes the automatic windows repair things comes when i turn it on. And it gets frozen there, there is nothing i can do . Can you tell me where the problem may be happening ? pls help ! 😢 help pls 🙏

Seems like your customers have a lot of problems with yall. They should just build their own PC. It's not that hard

My case's (Thermaltake Core V71) power button gave out after 9 years of use.

Gives me a little hope…. I was playing fn and then woke up the next morning and pc wasn’t turning it, I gotta take it in to a repair shop this Monday, although money be a struggle these days

So i went over my buddies house to fix my pc (it wasnt turning on), he got it working and when i came back home its not booting up again. I tried the sxrewdriver and its still the same problem where it has one second of power and it just completely shuts down

It happened to me once so I but the reset switch in to the power switch and I blew the front panel connector on the motherboard

My led button for my fan rgb stopped working and is now stuck on white. When I turn it on the rgb is rainbow but after a sec it goes white. I’m sure plugging my fans into my mb would fix this but I’m lazy. I think the hub they are connected to is bad

On an MSI motherboard, the cmos is called JBAT1. These are two pins located in the middle of the motherboard. Touch them for 10 seconds with a screwdriver and it could work turning on your PC.

My dad said a front usb stopped working, like 5 years later I was messing with the same old computer and shorted the usb like an idiot and now it works lol

Yea, Ive built 2 computers in the last year and both had hardware issues.

That's is definitely a new o e for me lol. I have built idk 100+ computers over the years but never that problem. I have had dead motherboards, dead gpu, bad ram, bad power supply but that one is new to me, cool to see something that I have not lol.

Happened to me

Well my story is kind of sad. I had issues with USB disconnecting and so on and so on. Then my pc randomly didn’t boot up anymore. So I thought, memory is brand new and works, Mainboard worked fine too, CPU aswell, must be the powersupply then. Changed the PSU and nothing. Maybe the button? Nope. The Motherboard then. Changed the Motherboard. Wooh! Boot, ladies and gentlemen. 6 months later, no boot, randomly off, which brings me to my CPU and/or ram. Since I wanted to switch to ryzen anyway, ill take it. Just kinda sad tho i have to motherboards now and a maybe dead cpu.

This is pretty common on diy work we get in the store. Customer knew a guy who could do it for cheaper, ended up messing something to us then angrily bringing it to us
