True Legend! His course was also part of my entry into the industry, and I felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him recently. Such a humble and kind guy :)

I am so fucking exhausted from hearing about AI. 99% of AI generated images look soulless and dogshit, we all know it, never mind the fact that it's trained on stolen work.
I hate that tech companies have introduced this pressure for no other reason but to cut out the middle man that is the artist in order to cheat their way to more profits, and so many artists are essentially just giving up and giving into it.

Many of the big companies in the gaming industry are seeing RECORD profits but have the audacity to lay off thousands. So many incompetent decisions are made at the executive level only for the consequence of those poor decisions to be felt by those on the bottom who are actually creating the product, while executives keep their jobs and even fail upwards, with bonuses.
Tech companies are feverishly trying to replace artists and designers left and right and package it in BS marketing of "innovation." It's all a big fucking joke.

AI generators have only cheapened and devalued art and the creative process itself in the eyes of the average person and make actual professional artists and designers expendable in the pursuit of growth and demand from shareholders. All the while there is no legislation or safety net for those being impacted by the predatory tech.
How can new or even young artists and designers even hope to gain any meaningful experience in their career when every job listings are for senior positions, with no less than 5 years of experience? There will be no new artists in 10-15 years at this rate.
I've been struggling to find work for over a year as a concept artist, and the last small gig I had the director of the project provided me AI images to work off from. That's small studio, imagine the ones with zero integrity that will use soulless AI generated images in the final product. The hyper-commodification that AI has caused in the creative and entertainment industries has made me extremely cynical and jaded.

It's funny that the Chinese on the thumbnail is saying 'bag strap' or 'guaranteed to guide you'.
