が
EXISTS
...
In my basics of Japanese book it also teaches that particle "ga" can be used to emphasize subject. For example, "watashi ga Tomi desu" ( I am Tomi ), if there is confusion which person is named Tomi during introduction.
ОтветитьBut why if I want to say "I want to play piano " it is "watashi wa piano ga hikitai" and not "watashi wa piano ga hikitai desu"?
ОтветитьWhen all hope is lost just watch a JapanesePod101 to regain hope
ОтветитьI’m having trouble understanding this lesson.
ОтветитьWhy do you not put desu on the last example?
ОтветитьI can use for ficction persons ? Because not exist but I go introduce the existence
ОтветитьWhat does" ga mata" mean
ОтветитьThank you 😊❤️
ОтветитьBut what is the negative form of ほしい and たい
Ответитьme while studying with duolingo-sama
"私はお茶が飲みたいです”
i want to drink tea
duolingo: wrong
wha?? why???
duolingo: "i want to drink green tea
I still dont get it. Is it ok to do "Neko ga Hoshii" or "watashi wa neko ga hoshii desu"???
ОтветитьI finally get it :’)
ОтветитьHi, I have a question.
1. "Hoteru ni baiten wa arimasu ka" or 2. "Hoteru ni baiten ga arimasu ka".
I know, the first sentence is correct, but the second sentence sounds better to me after watching this vid. Hope, someone can help me out.
She teach so nice.
ОтветитьI know why the picked pink car. ピンクガイ
ОтветитьThis is why i wanna learn Japanese like its a first language. By your break down that didnt say you have a pet or there is a pet it says theres a pet in existence. Lol
ОтветитьIn my textbook that i use (japanese from zero) they introduces "ga" as a particle for starting a sentence with a questions. E.g.: Dore ga kuruma desu ka? (Which one is a car?) Now i watched this video and get a different explaination. Your video makes more sense for "ga" to be an object marker since we have "wa" as an subject/topic marker. But my textbook confused me on that. Any clarification?
ОтветитьI’m just gonna answer a question I keep seeing in the comments unanswered:
“What’s the difference between 私はお茶が飲みたい vs 私はお茶を飲みたい?”
First off, Japanese don’t say 私は in any sentence unless they want to make it clear you want to talk about 私 (e.g., make 私 the topic of conversation, hence “topic marker”). Was there anybody else?
Don’t say 私はお茶が飲みたい unless there are others who want to drink something else.
Last, this video is a bit misleading; が would appear to be marking the “object of desire” if you analyzed its English translation; “I want to drink tea.” But something completely different is happening; it is not “I want to drink tea,” but rather “In relation to me (私は usually not said), tea is drink-desire inducing.” Because 飲みたい isn’t “want to drink tea,” it’s “drink-desire inducing.” Notice the たい at the end; that makes it behave like an adjective. “I want to drink tea” is a forced, artificial translation of what is going on so that it makes sense in English, but that’s not what is happening in Japanese.
So to answer a few questions, が isn’t marking an “object,” only を can do that. が marks the main actor of a sentence; it always does.
This might be difficult for non-Japanese speakers to grasp, but in Japanese sentences with たい, and other adjectives like 好き, the main actor is not 〇〇は (は marks the topic and only the topic) it is 〇〇が. To someone, a thing is 〇-able.
To make “I” (私) the main actor, you must mark it with が and to make the tea an object you must mark it with を. If you really must map Japanese onto the English sentence “I want to drink tea,” you can say 私がお茶を飲みたい, but you will be saying something that sounds strange to Japanese. Rather like “To me, tea is drink-desire-inducing” does in English.
And that, readers, is the difference between 私はお茶が飲みたい vs 私はお茶を飲みたい.
These are great video lessons. Put together well.
Ответитьありがとうございました
ОтветитьInstead of 「私はお茶(が)飲みたいです。」
Why not 「私はお茶(を)飲みたいです。」
Could you tell me the difference between these 2 structures?
From my understanding:
「あります, is used for the existence of non-living objects.
「います, is for the existence of living things.
「ほしいです, is when something is wanted.
「[ _ ]たいです, is when an action is wanted to be done.
According to the context, it shows possession or lack thereof.
So helpful video. Risa one thing to tell you.........You're soooo cute 😍 あなたは可愛いです。😍
ОтветитьT-T Why is this one really hard. I never know how to use it.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the two lines which make ka into ga and ha into ba and so on
ОтветитьIs the account free?
ОтветитьShit the English parts of this confuse me more than the Japanese lol
ОтветитьI don't get the different between imasu/arimasu and desu?
why "toile wa doko desuka?" its correct? shouldn't be "toile ga doko arimasuka?"
ここにみなさんわってもいいです
ОтветитьThis was extremely easy to understand especially since there’s a “が” (가) Particle that essentially means the same thing in Korean ^^
Ответитьありがとごさいます
ОтветитьI have a question. I know it's already explained but, which is the right one? が食べたい (ga tabetai) or を食べたい (wo tabetai). If が食べたい is the right one, why did the movie "kimi no suizou wo tabetai use を食べたい? I know this is stupid but, i just wanna know.
Ответитьrisa u look good with long hairs
Ответитьi dont get the tai part
ОтветитьI’m learn Japanese ok
Ответить私わ日本語を勉強が話します。
Ответитьwow so imagine trying to say i have a pet but instead of using ga you used o... and the person who speaks japanese would think you have a dead pet.
ОтветитьWhenever I try to include が I mess up 😔
ОтветитьI get confused mainly with when to use を and が when speaking with verbs, I know を is for actions more. I still get confused, I would’ve said the example sentence “I want to drink tea” as 僕はお茶を飲みたいです。why is this incorrect over using が instead? Is it because I’m saying “I want to...”? If anyone can help out, please do! Thank you
Ответитьfinally
Ответитьthis was REALLY REALLY easy to understand. im only two weeks into studying japanese and i've learned a lot.
Edit: I study Japanese for 9 months. I stop Bc I’m busy with college(freshman). I learned so much but when it comes to grammar it gets pretty hard but it was a lot of fun tho❤️. The best Japanese teacher is “organic Japanese with cure dolly” she is best so check her out. Trust me she makes it really easy to understand it! Wish me luck with college eveyone!! I’m struggle with pre calc yuck
Honestly, they don't explain it well. I get it, but I also see that a lot of people are confused in the comment section. It's like they're reporting in class but just reading their report, not really helping their classmates to understand the topic they're reporting ✌
ОтветитьWhat's the difference between たいです and したいです ?
Ответитьおかげさまで💖
ОтветитьHello from France, interesting and well-made video! Thank you! It's dynamic and fun.
