Toddler rushes to hug pizza man – without knowing how meaningful it was to him

I am a retired teacher who delivers for Uber Eats. To be honest, most customers treat drivers like we have a disease. Rarely there is eye contact, close distance, or even words exchanged. Keep in mind that we are people just like you. We live in the same neighborhood and shop at the same stores. We don't have leprosy.

When I was a child. I would make cards for the pizza delivery people with drawings of pizza on the front. Because they were the bearers of pizza, and that made them really special in my eyes as a kid. Also because when I was a kid I was really affectionate with everyone. I think it's related to my autism.

Children hear the voice of God when we adults can't. That precious father needed a hug from a child for his own was taken home, so that little boy became his miracle.

im a parttime food delivery driver and its always crazy how happy children are to see you, i have an orange suit and they call me the orange food man, they hug me and go crazy when they give me the tip, always makes my day

People show no respect for workers like the pizza delivery driver. She just went ahead and posted this without his consent, not even blurring his face, and then told the world about his loss. Now, she might not have needed his consent from a legal point of view, but still. People have no shame. Cute kid or not.

Is it me or this guy is the strongest man in the solar system? He's lost a daughter and yet still manages to get up from bed, dress up, and wear his best smile to go out there... to deliver pizzas?? Man, seriously? What's wrong with this life, really? So much pain, what's the point? And don't tell me the usual bs that pain makes you grow stronger. We all have a story, we all have deep wounds, but life as we know it must be a devilish joke, except it's NOT funny.
I hope we'll have some answers when we go to the other side.

I remember this pizza driver I was working out of town I ordered some pizza he showed up a really good movie was on. I forgot what it was now it was probably 10 or 12 years ago. He asked if it was certain movie. I said it is . We talked a few minutes. Laughed. I gave him a good tip that time

I am a delivery driver, and this happens to me often. One little girl even tells me she loves me every time i drop off the pizza. 😊
